Valentine's Plans?
Posted: 02-14-08 08:10am

What are your plans for Valentine's Day? Big plans with that someone special or a special night of pampering yourself?

His Valentine's gift is a special dinner I'm preparing. (mushroom salad, osso bucco, pasta with parmesan cream sauce and hot lovin bownie sundaes). It's also his b-day so there are a couple of gifts for him to open.

He gave me my gifts on Saturday because he said he couldn't wait. I got a dozen peach roses and a box of white chocolates.

We are going to have dinner at the olive garden. Its a place I have always wanted to go to and we just never got the chance to go. Then we will just hang out together. It will be nice. I love going out and spending money. I already have a gift thoughout for him too. I would also love a diamond ring....lol

yep thats what I figured. We both arent too big on V-Day. Well expensive gifts and spending lots of money or anything. Just him waking up this morning saying "happy valentines day will you be mine" is plenty for me.....Hes a big teddy bear too so one of his hugs and I am good to go.....

so bakin_april do you still have little kids at home or is it just you and your hubby tonight?

I had my valentine's weekend last weekend with my bf.

It was an amazing weekend. I made dinner one night and breakfast both mornings while he surprised me with dinner my first night up-- which was really nice after the long drive. I made him a card and decked out a picture frame-- that sorta thing too.

Now that I'm back I'll be doing homework tonight... Sad

I believe that if the man can't or won't buy it for me I just buy it myself.

LOL I agree Wink

But of course I'm always too afraid to spend money because we don't have much and I always think of what I could buy for the kids with the money instead of buying something for myself, even if I really need it.

I got hubby some books that he wanted and he bought me some really pretty peach roses Smile I don't know what else we are going to do. Maybe snuggle on the couch and watch a movie Smile

We don't do anything to exciting. I got my hubby a box a chocolates and a card. The kids a lil box of chocolates and a big lolli pop. Then for supper we got chinese and Mc Donalds for the kids. Hey it's simple and works for us!

I didn't get anything but that's ok I've gotten used to it over the years. He always tells me to pick something out but I like it better when he gets something because it means something then. So when he does it really means something because he doesn't always do it you know.

Maybe he'll give in and get me my puppy I want! Ha ha ha we'll see about that!
