Cant take this anymore...
Posted: 02-14-08 12:50pm

Don't want to get in too much detail, but i am not coping at all. I am stressed beyond believe. I have been for a long time now, but i've had a huge argument with bobby and i don't think i can take anymore of it. I know it's my hormones playing a big part in it, but i just feel so miserable and hate the way things are at the moment.
We keep getting phone calls from paradigm about neighbours complaining about us. A few weeks ago a neighbour complained about the smell, which wasn't even coming from our apartment, but the floor below us. We keep getting this phonecall, yet when they come to inspect the place, they cant smell anything from our apartment! Now they've complained about bobby dumping his bike outside the front. He hasn't dumped it. Okay, he has no engine on it at the moment and it's been knocked over by the wind or kids, but he is planning on using it. She threatened the police even though his bike isn't dumped and he's allowed to park his vehicle in the carpark! someone is seriously out to get us around this area.
The money problems haven't got any better, but i know we can sort that and i'll be leaving work next week. I'm just so stressed and miserable

I'm so sorry you are stressed. Your neighbors sound like jerks. Sometimes I think that older people pick on young couples just to be mean.

I hope things get better

We keep getting phone calls from paradigm about neighbours complaining about us.

What is paradigm?

What kind of smell exactly? Is it from the people cooking downstairs? Did you tell the people who complained and the people who came to inspect that the smell was coming from the apartment below yours?

Some places have rules about unused vehicles. Some places don't allow them to be parked on their property. Some neighborhoods, where people all own their own homes, even have rules against having unregistered vehicles parked in driveways. Check your apartment rules, and if they don't have a rule about bikes like Bobby's, tell them to leave you alone!

paradigm is what owns the buildings we live in. the smell is smoke. i can smell it straight from the second floor and leads up to our floor, but as soon as i get in our apartment i cant smell it. we did mention it, and they said they cant do anything about people smoking in their building. but as i don't know who actually complained about us, we cant talk to them personally as the calls were anomous. the flats we live in allow parking outside. there is a carpark, but hes not allowed to park his bike there apparently, even though it is a carpark. it is not dumping his bike if he is parking it there until he gets it fixed. the lady on the phone threatened to phone the police because apparently it was dumped!
i really hope things get better. this is getting really cruel and i seriously don't need the stress right now

No you don't need the stress right now. I hope you can find peace where you are. It is hard when the stress comes from your living environment and you feel you have absolutely no control over it.

I am taking it to mean leaving it there. Junking it. Letting it rot. Acting like he took it to the dump and is just going to leave it there.

Do you know anyone who is British, Future? Wink

ok rose now to be honest i can kinda yet again be on the same level with you. the flat thing!!

well i stayed in a shitty flat lol was a 5 story. i was on the 5th. id just had scott. and there was this stench! people kept braking the door to pee in the stairs. (WANKS) well anyway the people below me used to keep moaning about the noise all the time and i had the police at the door a few times and everytimes they came to the door they had no idea why they were there.
untill i found out!!!! they were calling the police coz scott would cry at like 2am. but so do all babys.

the smell was rediculus.

i had a chinquento. and old one and i was fixing the engine on it. the neibours kept moaning coz it was taking up a car space that they needed. and i wasnt using the car.

I can't believe the police would even show up because someone complained about a baby crying!

Did you live alone with your baby? How much noise can a mom and a tiny baby possibly make?
