I have been diagnosed with a dozen
different eye conditions over the years,
and they all basically came down to the
same thing : my left eye does not move.
Some doctors said it was the optic nerve
(??) damaged due to trauma at birth,
others said it was a disorder of the
muscle, others said the nerve and muscle
were both fine, but they just didn't like
each other.

Anyway, I've lived with this for 23 years
now. I'm getting a little tired of it. My
left eye is always focused inward
slightly, although it's much less now than
when I was younger. Over the years I've
developed a bit of control over it (but I
still don't have any peripheral vision on
my left side).
I've noticed over the last few months that
my left eye is always slightly, squinted?,
closed?, I don't know what to call it. My
right eye looks more open than my left.
It's more common when I'm tired/fatigued.
I've been to a dozen opth. since I was in
kindergarten, and they've all said that
the only solution is surgery. But, they
all also gave me a different diagnosis.
Apparently, it's always been this way and
I just started to notice.
So, has anyone ever heard of anything like
this? Any idea on what it could actually
be?
