Have you been already diagnosed with high
blood pressure?
What happens after running for one minute?

Have you consulted your doctor for an
exercise regime? And have you told him
about the conditions you are having right
now?
As far as I know... You don't have to do
strenuous exercise to lower your blood
pressure. You can do moderate physical
activities for 3-4 times a week and you
should see improvement in your readings.
Such activities include:
Common Chores:
* Washing windows or floors for 45-60
min
* Gardening for 30-45 min
* Stair walking for 15 min
* Raking leaves for 30 min
* Waxing a car for 45-60 min
Sporting Activities:
* Walking 2 miles in 30 min
* Shooting baskets for 30 min
* Cycling for 30 min
* Rope jumping for 15 min
* Swimming laps for 20 min
Of course, it is best that you speak to
your doctor 1st before starting your
exercise plans.
To your health!

You don't give us much to work with. What
is your bp normally? Running usually
lowers blood pressure, makes you feel
better (physically and mentally), helps
you lose wt., all that good stuff. Go
out and do what you feel like doing, and
you'll get better and feel better if you
stick with it.

Regular physical activity makes your heart
stronger and lowers blood pressure by an
average of 10 millimeters of mercury (mm
Hg). That's the same effect as some blood
pressure medications. For some people,
it's enough to reduce the need for blood
pressure medication.
You can practice light aerobic exercises
every other day for at least 30 minutes.
