Lack of birth control hormone Posted: 02-15-08 15:02pm
I've been taking birth control (Yaz) for
about three months. I stopped taking it
recently (the week before January ended)
because I forgot about it. I kept
reminding myself to get it refilled with
February started, but of course, I forgot.
Now it's February 15th 2008 and I've been
feeling really sick. I'm dizzy, nauseous,
tired, cramping, backaches..etc..
I'm not sure if it's my body adjusting to
not having the birth control or if there's
something else going on with me.
I appreciate any help I can get.

You COULD be pregnant.
ANYTIME you stop the pill before you
finish ALL of the active pills, you can
get pregnant!
You need ALL ACTIVE pills in order to be
protected from pregnancy. You cannopt just
atop it anytime and assume you are
protected.
EXAMPLE. You have sex, and stop taking
the pill the next day. Sperm can live in
you long enough to fertilize an egg that
you can ovulate due to missing several
pills.
