Woman Pain
Posted: 02-15-08 23:32pm

I’m 17 years of age, and I'm very physically active. I have exceedingly painful and debilitating menstrual periods that often prevent me from doing activities of daily living, that make me sick to my stomach, give and hot flashes/cold flashes, and on several occasions have landed me in the emergency. When I am not on my period I have a constant (period-like) pain in my right lower abdomen. The pain is always in the same spot and the pain get worse when I am standing for long periods of time or moving. This pain can sometimes cause me to loose my appetite or give me back pain. Sitting down/curling up into a ball or using a hot pack can temporarily relieve this pain. This pain has been relatively persistent for 6 months and is getting worse. What could be causing this pain?

You should make an appointment with your gynecologist. That could be a number of things. I know it's normal for women to get ovulation pain during mid cycle. But that pain/cramping only lasts up to 3 or 4 days. It sounds to me like the pain is bothersome to you. Get it checked out and you will feel better.

pain during orgasm
Posted: 07-02-08 13:47pm

for about the past month I experience a deep pain during orgasm. It begins at the onset of orgasm and ends at the end of it. It is not vaginal but is sensed deep- probably in the area where left ovary would be located. No pain with intercourse, only with orgasm. No pain before or afterwards. What are some possible causes. I have a doctor appointment soon, but want to have some background prior to going. thank you

I know I might be late on this but you should talk to your doctor about Endometriosis
