vagina infection or std pain

yesterday the opening of my vagina hurt a little bit and i dont think its my urethra because it doesnt hurt when i pee. it kind of hurt when i put my tampon in and i could feel the tampon inside of me a little bit and usuallty i cant feel it at all. infection? std? small irritation? help me out

Probably a yeast infection. Try live yogurt on a pad.

you probably do have a yeast infection but you should go to a gyn to make sure its not anything else. she should give you a prescription that will get rid of it in a day or two.

if you are having any pain you should put any objects in your vagina (its just going to add to the problem)you need to see the gyn doctor to make sure it is not an infection that has got worst it is better safe then sorry, your body is tring to tell you something isn't right

Most than likely if you are having vaginal itching and irritation there is a boarder-line infection. You need to go to a physician and get the issue addresses. And stop using tampons for a while until you address the irritation at hand. Tampon usage will only heighten the issue.
