taking first pill on light spotting ? Posted: 02-17-08 23:58pm


My period this cycle started extremely light. Is it correct protocol to take your first birth control pill at the first sign of blood if your periods begin with light spotting? I took the first pill of my pack about eight hours after my first spotting began (Blood is being secreted). Do I have anything to worry about as far as protection for this month goes? Many thanks!
