itchy dry eye and stiff achy body with sore throat Posted: 02-19-08 14:10pm
For the last few days my right eye has
been red and intermittently itchy and dry.
I have been waking up with more crusties
in that eye than usual, and they have a
greenish tint. Yesterday I woke up with a
sore throat and my body became stiff and
achy during the afternoon. This morning I
hacked up some phlegm with blood in it.
Everything I hack up or blow our has a
greenish tint. There is some discomfort
behind my eye and my nose, and my lymph
nodes may be swollen, but I do not have a
headache or a fever. I thought it may have
been allergies the first day, but I took
some echinacea yesterday and my symptoms
didn't worsen. I'm thinking I may have a
sinus infection, I live in a very dry
climate so that may be the cause.
