discharge and bad odor from Trichomoniasis ? Posted: 02-20-08 13:40pm
So I have been married 10 years, and
haven't had sex with someone other than my
husband in 12 years.
I am on the fence of whether or not my
husband has cheated on me.
About 3 weeks ago, he didn't come home at
all. He says he slept at his friend's
house after a lot of drinking.
To the point....
I just ended my period(about 4 days ago),
and last night had a really gross
discharge. It was yellowish/clear, bubbly
and sticky. A lot of it. It smelled,
enough to make me cringe and think I need
to have a shower first thing in the
morning.
It bothered me enough to google it. Maybe
it is trich?
I have no discharge today, but have
noticed my odor the past few days hasn't
been as normal as usual. I thought it was
because I was ending my period. How often
does the discharge come with trich? I am
peeing very frequently
I've never had an std, or even a yeast
infection, so I am really unsure about
stuff like this.
I am hoping to be tested tomorrow. (I have
kids, so clearly this must be done on the
downlow, or else I would go immediately)
Does anyone know what this sounds like???

You have all the markers for trich but
before you accuse your husband, bear in
mind that it IS possible to contract it
through other means than sexual
intercourse - not usual, but possibe.
Both of you will need to be treated. And
maybe you should talk to him about his
drinking!
