Anyone here trying to conceive at 35 and over? Just want to see who I can relate with. I can't believe I will be ttc soon. Smile

Thanks shortgeek. Lots of baby dust for you. Are you on any fertility drugs at the moment?

This is the first cycle I'm on fertility drugs. I'm scheduled for an IUI next week. None of my doctors are the kind to prescribe Clomid unless they are doing a precedure.

How about you? How long have you been ttc and what does your OB/GYN or RE say?

Well to be honest with you I have never ttc. So I have no clue whether I'm very fertile or not or whether my husband is infertile or not. I'm just coming off the pill now and let's see what happens. Hope is all good. I have never had problems with my period, I have no gyn conditions like fibroids or PCOS and my mom was very fertile so the odds are good but you never know. I'm prepared for anything.

Welcome to the world of TTC!

Step 1) start your prenatal vitamins now.

Step 2) Call your doctor and set up a ttc appt. They will give you some information about temping (that you can ignore for now) but they will also order all your blood tests (such as chicken pox and rubella) which I HIGHLY suggest. Plus, in the event that you don't get pregnant right away (which I hope is not the case) they will take you seriously when you go in later and say that things aren't working.

Good luck and lots of baby dust!

It's unbelieveable that finally i have come to the world of TTC lol!

Well I been taking folic acid supplements but not a prenatal multivitamin. Because all that I have seeing have vitamin A and I'm a little paranoid of vitamin A in supplemental form. This is because I took accutane four years ago and well it's long story but let's say that I'm afraid that vitamin A in supplemental dose will make me sick like I was after I finished accutane.
