memory problems and tiredness with high blood pressure Posted: 02-21-08 18:53pm
Alright, this is going to be a long post.
Ever since the age of 17 (I'm now 22),
I've experienced weird problems that no
one else my age has. The first thing that
came along with being tired and having
major memory problems. I'm always tired. I
can sleep 9-10 hours and still be tired
all day and want more sleep. I have to
force myself to remember things short
term. I'm very spacey all the time and I
think that is what is causing the memory
issues. I feel like I can never think
clearly. 30 minutes after EXTREME
excercise, my blood pressure was 145/90.
I'm sure it was A LOT worse right
afterwards. My doctor said my blood
pressure should never be over 140/90 for
an reason. I have weird circulation issues
and my arms will randomly fall asleep when
I'm laying down and in extreme situations,
just when I'm using a keyboard, they will
tingle some. I have these problems every
day. I even took my blood pressure the
other day, after drinking about 32-40
ounces of pop and it read 155/90. That was
even after I tried to calm myself down. My
normal blood pressure is in the up 120's.
I DO have ADHD, but I've had it my whole
life, of course, but have never had any
weird issues like this until 17. Also, I
can feel my heart pound when I lay down. I
can see the vein on the side of my neck
pulsating when I look in the mirror
without touching it. If I press down on
it, it goes crazy and you can feel the
blood pulse really strong. I also think I
have a twist in my body because the zipper
on my jeans is about an inch to the left
of my belly button. It doesn't feel
comfortable if I line it up with my belly
button. Also, if I pace myself and jog, I
can do about 2 miles...I'm tired, but I
can do it. Though, if I run as fast as I
can for about 10 seconds, my heart goes
crazy and I can feel it pounding STRONG.
No matter what kind of exercise I do, I
feel like crap. I'm 6 foot tall and about
190 pounds. People say I look just like an
other person that is 6 foot tall, so I'm
not fat. Please help. You have no idea how
much this problem bothers me. Also, I went
to the doctor and they said my cholesterol
was normal. I will do whatever I can to
pay back any advice you guys can give me.
THANKS!!!!!
