Silent ischemia and occasional angina

Hello. My family will be here later. Jonathan has really bad allergies so my mom in law took luciana for the afternoon. Jonathan needs some rest he took his allergy medicine that makes him tired. No dialysis today. The cardio said my kidneys need it , but my heart is not ready to handle it today. I wanted to go outside today it looks gorgeous out, but my cardio said not today. Talked to luciana on the phone and we had a nice conversation ha ha. Just going to try and sleep not feeling particularly great today. Glad you are taking a nap. please do not go out in the 9 0 degree weather. I have a Nicholas cage and bridgett fonda movie on the one where nicholas cage wins the lottery. It is a cute movie. I must have seen it ten times already. enjoyed hearing from you. write if you are up to it later. praying for you. janine

I'm so glad you are going to have your family in today.That always makes you feel better. Is your cardio able to handle the stress today. I don't know how old he is but he'll probably have some grey hair when this is all over. I saw that movie your talking about. It was funny.
When I had my first open heart they played Dennis The Menace, alot. I laughed harder each time I saw the movie. My chest was killing me. We need those breaks don't we. Yea it was way too hot for me today so I BBQ'd some ribs and black beans. That's one good thing about Texas, great BBQ. Of coarse that's not the only thing.
Has your strept gotten any better today? What's the course for tomorrow, dialysis?

How are you? Hope you enjoyed your salty tons of fat supper! ha ha or do they have low fat ribs? I did see my family more of them than I wanted to. Did not feel like visiting with them, but they did not see me in a while. I did not want to hurt their feelings. I love them all very much but am not feeling well to entertain. I appreciate them all very much i would have rathered them coming tommarrow instead. But you know italians. I did good though. I was very courteous. Try having your parents and inlaws and husband and daughter all in one room. It is funny they all talk among themselves and they come to visit me. It is very funny. My cardio looks quite young do not know his age. No he is not grey yet. Give him time. He is at his wits end with my throat and glands. Not much better. My immune system must be terrible. will not know til tommarrow about dialysis. At least you will get to church this week. I know it bothers you when you cannot go. Dennis the mennace is my one nephew to a t. The wedding date is on now and so are the sox. I hope I can sleep tonight. I just feel worse than usual today. I have no energy and alot of pain. I know what you mean about visiting and relatives. Don't forget alot of my relatives are Italians also. Love em dearly, but can't take much visitation when feeling that bad. Your right. You will give your cardio grey hair. Do your parents live close by? How was Luciana? I guess she likes plenty of attention, huh? I wish that darn strept would get going. It's driving me crazy too.

I got some rest but still not breathing too well. Ya know, I really feel guilty complaining about myself with all that your going thru. I know you want to know so I guess that makes it better .Thankyou.
Probably going to ride the mower and get the yard done. Mostly take it easy. Church was nice ,even though small attendence. Prayed for you. Guess I'll go chase down one of those fat hogs and make some more ribs. Just kidding,Ha Ha.

hi. I did finally get some sleep. My cardio did not want to give it to me, but I begged him. I do not know why he did not want me to have it. My cardio is callIng a throat specialist to come in and see me. My temperature is stilll up and my spleen is now swollen. My glands are still very swollen and throat very red. He said he needs help. He said with these new symptoms something else is starting to go on. I do have dialysis, but am not ready for it. So my cardio said he will be more annoying than ever today for me to be prepared. i do not mind when you tell me about not feeling well, but I will tell you it bothers me when you do not help yourself. You are having a hard time breathing but you are doing yard work and even the riding mower. Can' you just stay in and relax for one or two days, or you and Like read or watch tv? Your bronchitis is never going to go, and that is not good especially for your heart. I do not mind hearing when you are sick and do not feel well and you are doing everything possible to try and feel well. It is just hard for me when you say you are dizzy or cannot breathe and have not sat still. I want you to do everything possible not to end up like me. I am not yelling at you just concerned. I do not expect you not to do anything, but now with the bronchitis and when you have symptoms take it easy. You have become a friend to me and I care. Ok enough badgering you. Glad you got to church, I bet it felt good for you to be back. Out of all the places for the Pope to speak he has to do it at Yankee stadium. Wish I could have a talk with him. St Patricks cathedral is beautiful and Madison Square Garden is huge he should have gone there. Have to go My cardio and I think the throat doctor are here. They are both smiling and talking while looking at me. Hope that is a good sign and I do not have something terribly more terribly wrong. Enjoyed hearing from you. Just took a nap. feel a little better.
How about you? Did the doc find out what is going on? I wonder why the enlarged spleen. It probably is from the infection. Are they going to change the way they are handling the strept. Did you get a chance to talk to the doc. your cardio brought in?
I imagine your starting to get a little aggravated at them not getting it under control. Maybe two heads are better than one. When are you starting dialysis? They probably will do some testing to see if something else is going on.
Your right ,I keep pushing it. I find it extremely hard to set still. When I know I should be. I'm getting ready to take a breathing treatment. That will probably help some. Love ya . write soon and I'll do the same. Everything's good.

hi. Hope the breathing treatment worked. Well you need to learn to sit still. I am not aggrivated with any of my doctors. My cardio has saved my life so many times especially. It is not his fault my body seems to be deteriorating. I am glad that my cardio was not arrogant and tried to do everything himself. The throat doctor does not know where but says I also have mononucleosis accompanied by the strep. They said it is not just a diease from kissing. I could have caught it from anyone. They are trying to track it down to see where I could have got it from. It could be from someone who sneezed and did not wash their hands. a hospital worker maybe. Dialysis was only an hour today. I am glad the cardio watched me because I was a little afraid to have it again. Got to try and eat supper. looking firward to hearing from you. I will be up for a while. janine

Let me see. Who could it have been? Just kidding. Mono huh? That's what is probably causeing your enlarged spleen. It will do that. Well at least they know what to go after. That makes me happy. Maybe another reason you feel so tired. The spleen has alot to do with your red and white blood cells. If it is not working properly it is hard to fight infections. So let's hope and pray.
I really didn't mean that you were upset with your doc. Lord knows he is a prince of a guy and doing everything possible to heal you. It's easy to blame when you feel as bad as you do. It's amazing that you don't. Did dialysis tire you very much?By the way, that was a great blog reply you got on your other forum. Must have made you feel better. She was very nice.

Hello. Jonathan asked me the same thing who I had been kissing. He came in to see. He has not been feeling well he thinks his allergy is really a cold, and does not want me to catch it. The throat doctor said he cannot wait to get rid of my infections , because he has never heard such a bad sounding heart. Gosh that made me feel good. He said I will probably feel like this for a couple more days. He said the strep will go first if it responds to his course of action. The swollen glands and mono will take awhile. He said as soon as my cardio gave him the symptoms he had a goood idea what was going on. I am his first patient who needs a heart transplant. My heart feels like it is beating fast since dialysis. The nurse keeps checking it. why do you think it is like that? how are you feeling? hope your breathing treatment did you some good. are you anxious to see kristen tommarrow? she probably will be happy when she sees you. yes that lady was very nice. i was glad to hear her husbands story. it was encouraging. Well hope to hear from you. I will be up for a while. I have a treeatment at 9pm and probably another cardio visit. so i hate to fall asleep and get woke up again. tell carol i said hello. thank you for caring. janine

That is good news . Your EENT sounds like he knows his stuff. Good for you. On top of all that you sure don't need your hubby's cold. You will probably feel so much better in a couple of days. Can't wait.
I did want to mention to you that if I am taking too much of your time while yourin the hosp. please let me know. As you say we have become friends but I don,t want to be a burden and don,t want you to feel obligated to respond all the time . I would love to think that your time is helping you heal. Again,it is not a necessity that you always write back. You need to rest . I do thank you though, I enjoy your input greatly,and your friendship. Enough already.

Good nite. My respiratory treatment was longer than usual and my cardio decided to do an ekg, besides my exam. He also brought in warm compresses for my glands. He was told by the ent they will help the pain in my glands. Do not be silly! I enjoy our conversations, and cannot wait to hear from you! I check often during the course of the days to see if you wrote me back. I always have time for people, even when I was well. so I enjoy writting you, and you are far from being a burden. Janine- I'm Jerry's daughter, and he wanted me to send you a quick note letting you know what's going on with him. He's in the hospital awaiting test results from a CT scan he had today. He wasn't feeling well, so he went in and the doctor admitted him for testing. Not sure what's going on yet, but will let you know later. Hope all is well with you and will keep you in my prayers. I just got out of the hosp. and made it home. It was just about impossible to get a message to you. I hope it was ok for my daughter,Dawn, To contact you. She was suppose to get in touch with you yesterday. They found out I had a blood clot in my heart that moved to my lungs. they treated it and they think they got it. Coumadin increase. That is why I was so short of breath and dizzy with a cough. I'm hoping that's taken care of now.
I was worried about how you were doing since going in. How are you? Have you had to have any procedures done in the last few days? I'm hoping you are feeling better than before I left for the hosp. Have they done anything on your legs, speaking of blood clots. Did you finally get the strept under control?
Don't be too upset with me for the sudden loss of contact. It is a pretty helpless situation and feeling when you can't do much to help yourself and have to relie on everybody else. Is Jonathan and Luciana ok? Hope you got to see them.

Hello. I was so afraid to open this message, since I did not hear anything in days I was afraid I hate to say it that you passed away. I really do hope next time someone can communicate with me better. It was really hard getting that message on monday and not hearing anything since. I even went online checking Texas obituaries! Jonathan was going to take the computer away from me. I got the computer back, but have to promise not to stretch. I am so glad you will be ok. I know blood clots are not fun. Are you going to listen now and take it easy! You are lucky you went to the hospital! I was really worried. Anytime you and I hear bronchitis we should know something else is going on. so called bronchitis is what got me in this mess. I am so happy and relieved to hear from you. I am still a mess. Nothing helping my strep and my glands are still huge and mono still here. My spleen is badly infected and I have Infection now in my heart again. they are trying a very strong medicine now. Eventually something has to help. I prayed for you. You know I do have a strong belief in St. therese. I believe her intercession brought Jonathan to me. Luciana is good. We celebrated her first bday on Tuesday, and after Jonathan took her to the zoo for the first time and she loved it. I just saw the videos of her at the zoo and she really did love it. I am so happy and relieved to hear from you. How is carol? You better be lying on the couch with the remote in your hand! Looking forward to hearing from you! Janine

Thanks for caring so much. I'm sure your prayers are a major reason I feel better. Again ,I am so sorry to put you through that. I found out my daughter and I had a miscommunication. She Apologizes. Dawn really is a wonderful person. You and her are probably alot alike. I don't know if I could handle that. She's tough on me too.
I feel terrible that nothing, really ,has been accomplished since the first of the week. If I could do something more for you I would. I feel pretty helpless when it comes to helping you with this burden. Since my heart's in bad shape too I can feel your need for a cure, especially at your age. These infections are raising havoc on your heart and not letting you heal. Keep your belief in St. Theresa strong. Wasn't she called The Little Flower? I bet Luciana had a great time. Did you have it in the room?
I love the zoo. It's probably my favorite trip with the kids and they learn alot there. Manny still needs a hair cut and are you the one that planted Ortiz's jersey at Yankee Stadium. Wouldn't doubt it. Shame shame.

Are the doctor's giving you any idea of the current prognosis? It's tough on them too. Now you got 2 doctors your driving crazy.
