hi. good to hear from you. hope you are taking it a little easier today. remember what i said in one of my first posts to you. when you have heart problems and have days when you feel good we tend to overdo it. sounds like you are! please take it easy! do not make yourself worse. i had a cardioversion very early this am. i just woke up from it a while ago. my heart rate is now 100. still a fever. it is 101. it seems like it goes down and then goes up as the day goes on. what do you think of that. thank you for the input on what i asked you about the surgery. you are very helpful to me. i should ask the cardio but i like to ask you first. this way i look smart before i blurt out something unintelligent. maybe green nailpolish for upcoming st patricks day. thank you for that advice also. last night i started to read about stem cells. i never knew you can use your own. also they can grow heart valves from stem cells. i hope i read that right. if i am wrong i will blame it on my medication. haha i still feel weak. at least my heart rate is not as annoying. my trans cardio said luciana can stay with me for a couple hours as long as i do not exert myself. i am in bed how can i exert myself. its pretty bad if making a movement is exerting myself. i do not think its at that point yet. the trans surgeon talked to me about the bivad and some of his concerns. i will tell ya about it later. my lunch is here. believe it or not i am very hungry. they made me fast for the procedure. only gave me some jello when i woke up. i cannot eat meat today because its friday. they gave me mac and cheese. it looks good. lots of cheese. i am praying for you. hope your students are doing better. hope to hear from you soon. janine redsoxgirl

Hi, Just got out of school for spring break. I'm looking forward to some time off. You were right about pushing it. My heart needs a break.
How do you feel after the cardioversion? You said your heartrate was at 100. May be it will drop a little more. Did the use paddles or chemicals for your procedure this morning. Who did it? Maybe it will help you strengthen enough to bring down that temp. I hope so. You don't have to feel unintelligent asking questions . You are very up on your situation. We are learning from you. You mentioned some concerns the trans cardio had and, again, about the bivad and some other things?
Yes stem cells can be obtained from your own body. Bone marrow, skin and thru blood work. They can grow valves from the cells but with a mech. valve won't happen. Still hope they get back with me soon. I'll be fine.
Hope you could spend some time with Luciana today and didn't EXERT yourself too much. Green sounds ok. Love Mac and cheese. Was the Chicago song You're My Inspiration?
Hope the kids are all good when the break is over. I'll miss them. Gotta go, taking Carol out to dinner. Mexican food.
Don't forget to write .Look forward to it. Everyting's Good. God bless you.

hello. i am happy you are on spring break. you can finally rest. i know you over did it. the stem cells will come. my prayers are on it. i love mexican food! tacquitos are my favorite. you better not be eating too much salt! that will not make you feel any better. luciana came. we watched snow white on the portable dvd player. she was very good. she threw a fit when it was time to go home. i hated to see her cry but i love that she misses me and has not forgot about me. that sounds terrible. you know what i mean. i want to be with her all day. i am just thrilled they let me see her. my heart rate is 105 now and my temp 102. it was a cardioversion with paddles. it was risky but it needed to be done. my chest is a little sore from it. they are concerned with the size of the bvd. am in the middle. the pediatric will fit like a glove. it may be uncomfortable. and also i have and have had lots of blood clots and a side effect of the bivad is blood clots. my coagulation and heart rate will have to be monitored closely. no big deal. i hope i explained that right. i am glad i sound intelligent. sometimes its so hard to understand everything said to me. i also learn from you. tell carol i said hello. how is your rett girl? i hope the family listened to you. you got my wedding song right. when i plan an event that needs music i never go wrong or went wrong i should say with earth wind and fire. got to go. you better have your feet up with the remote control in your hand after dinner. looking forward to hearing from you. redsoxgirl janine

Hi,
How about some hot weather. 92 down here. It's not even spring. Wish you were out enjoying mother nature. Gonna do some gardening this week. Very relaxing.
What's going on with you? Anymore on the bivad. Since you are so small, the pediatric makes more sense. On top of that you can suck your thumb and watch the blood flow. A little funny. Blood clots can be a problem so they will probably keep your anticoagulation numbers quite high. It will be worth it. How about that fever/ Down at all? Has your trans cardio discussed anything else with you? I was going to ask you what meds you were on before you entered the hosp. I'm sure i'm on some of them. Coumadin for sure. Hate it.
Hope you can spend time with your family over the weekend. That would be nice.
I've been asked to consult on a couple of watergardens over the break. That's what I did after the dealership. Just consulting ,it's hard work. The results are gorgeous. I think one might be a waterfall. They are very restful. Enough about me. Please write when you can. I look forward to it. Everything's good. God bless you.

good morning. wow 92! we will not see that temp here until july or june if we are lucky. i love watergardens. i always wanted to get a waterfall near our pool. just know your limits. i love to plant flowers it is relaxing. just make sure you drink alot when you are gardening especially because it is hot. ha ha about sucking my thumb. i saw my huband he brought me breakfast and we ate together. he has to work today. he is trying not to take too much time off so he can save it for the bivad or transplant. luciana will come later. my cardio has not really said anything new. except the pediatric device will fit but not much room. the adult is too large and the pediatric may be uncomfortable. i do not care just so one can go into me. my temp is 101. i think it is about time it breaks. i never knew a fever can last this long. my medications were and are with a few added that i am not sure of digoxin now lanoxin vasotec lasix coumadin coreg procanamide and the antibiotic and nitroglycerin. do you take the same? i have to have a kidney us done again. the trans cardio said it is in minor distress. nothing to worry about yet. just keep drinking and i may need a medication. it is a result of my low ef. enjoy your day. please write if you can. praying for those stem cells. i enjoyed hearing from you. cya janine redsox girl

Hi, How is your day going? Any more news from the doc?Is your fever getting any better and how's the chest pain? I think it's about time that fever breaks too. I wanna start discussing your new bivad. Or even better your new heart. Tell the trans cardio that you don't mind if he ruins your weekend with an operation. The fever has lasted a long time but your health is so compromised that nothing's gonna be easy. But yes it's about time. Coreg is a good drug. That's what my cardio increased on me. It seems to have worked some. Hope only minor problem with kidneys.
Got back from buying some plants, or I should say alot of plants. It's suppose to cool down tomorrow , about 80. I am drinking alot of water MOM, Thankyou. You can build a waterfall right at the edge of a pool. It's easy and fun. You can even hook right into the existing pump Iv'e done many. I love them.
So ok lets really believe that it's all going to happen soon. Don't forget that Easter egg hunt. Gotta go and make supper. Talk to you just a little later. Write if you can. Everything' God loves ya. Everything's good.
God Bless,

hello. you sounded like you had an enjoyable day buying your plants. you may have talked me into the waterfall for the pool. my husband by the way his name is jonathan wanted one last year. what did you cook for supper? i know i would rather be telling you about the bivad or heart rather than my fever and heart rate. soon. the fever cannot stay forever. i do have chest pain and still a temp of 102. my heart rate is let me look 112. my family did visit but i wanted to sleep. they stayed so long. jonathan tried to hint for them to leave but you know a bunch of italians they do not want to stop talking! luciana did not want to leave again. so jonathan went and did some errands and left her with me and got her when he was done. she fell asleep so it was easy to take her home. my kidney is stable. he may start me on some medication for it. i do not know much about the kidneys. just the basic things. my cardio said that the myocarditis i have is a severe case of it. it will take a while. i am glad you drank lots of water. just making sure you do not overdo it. praying for the stem cells. it will be so exciting when i can send you a message that i am getting my bivad. luciana will love an easter egg hunt. it will be her first one. looking forward to hearing from you. i am going to sleep now. i hope no one has any tests left for me tonite. they did take blood from my foot. at first was weird after that was ok. looking forward to hearing from you. janine redsoxgirl

good morning. you better sit and relax today. i did not want to say anything but you should not have been out yesterday. you needed to relax a couple days. you better call your cardio. what are your symptoms? i also feel terrible. having a really hard time breathing today and just very lethargic and a terrible headache. i still have a fever 103. enough about me. please take it easy! you want to be strong for the stem cells. i am praying for you. say your prayers at home. god is everywhere not only church. hope to hear from you later if you are up to it. if you do not feel like writting a lot just let me know how you are. take care janine redsoxgirl

Hi,
Gee hope your feeling better this evening. I know what you mean when you said that people visit too long when you're in the hosp. I go thru the same thing everytime. Sometimes I send my wife home for a couple of days just so both of us can relax.
Have you talked to the trans cardio today? any thing new? I'm sure it's getting to be old just waiting to feel better. I've gone thru it a few times but you can,t give up. No way. Even getting up and sticking my head out in the hallway helped. Is your headache any better? I am so sorry I know you can't get up. But you will be.
Thanks for the prayers. I said a few your way. Right now my chest has quit hurting.
Gotta be those prayers.
Have you seen Jonathan or Luciana today? I bet she looks forward to being with you.I think my grandchildren from San Antonio will be here this week. Can't wait.
Probably mic some leftovers tonight. Don't feel like cooking. Wish I had some corned beef For st. patty's day.
I think I've rambled on enough. When you talk to your trans cardio ,it may be hard but, it might be time for you to ask some hard Questions. Don't hold back. I promise it will help. Everythings good. God loves you.

god bless

hi. i am glad your chest pain went away. you better take it easy! i was worried. the prayers do help. i still do not feel that great. my trans cardio told everyone to stay home today.he and i have talked. he said day to day. he is giving me a saline iv for the acute renal insufficiency. he just started it an hour ago. he said it is common and he has it under control. and for my breathing he upped my oxygen. i can breathe a little better. he also upped the lasix because of the saline solution. i hope i explained that right. no salty ham and cabbage! you need to watch your salt! he said he will do another biopsy of my heart tommarrow. he said to hang in there he promises better days are coming. my case is nothing new he has dealt with it before. he said if i was hopeless he would not be giving me all this treatment. you always know when i get discouraged. thank you for giving me the courage to talk with my cardio. i asked him about stem cells for you and have you tried the mayo clinic? he is not too up with stem cells because his patients are usually too far gone for it. but the mayo clinic is usually up on all the newest research and technology. red sox and yankees are playing tommarrow in a spring training game. will you be cheering go sox go! i told the trans cardio he better do the biopsy in the early am and if by some chance the bivad or heart it will have to wait til after the game. ha ha what left overs did you have? that will be great to see your grandchildren. just do not over do it! glad your chest pain is gone maybe you should call your cardio and give him a heads up on how you have been feeling. looking forward to hearing from you. take care! redsoxgirl janine

Good morning, Erin go Brau
I wonder if I spelt that right. How are you ? How's that fever and headache? Your prayers are wonderful. I feel real good this morning. I won't push it.Has the saline iv helped with the kidneys? I'm glad your trans cardio gave you some oxygen. It can really help .Hope the results of the heart biopsy show things are better. When he told you better days are coming, that should have made you feel better. I know better days are coming for you.
Thanks for mentioning my stem cell situation to him. I am aware of the Mayo doing it and also the Cleveland Clinic. I hope my cardio comes up with something soon. I'll be talking to him. I always ask my cardio how my future looks. He's very honest with me . Ok you talked me into it .GO SOX GO. I ate an english muffin and an egg for supper. No salt. Gotta get my day going I'll talk to you in a while. Everything's Good.

good afternoon. happy st patricks day. i am so happy you feel better today. i pray for you each day. you also have to take care of yourself. the oxygen is helping. the biopsy is done. my cardio thinks the dehydration is causing alot of problems . its hard to manage because i need all the lasix yet again i need fluids. guess what! my fever is down probably due to the saline. when they discontinue it and if my fever stays down i can have my bivad. i still need the saline.. that is some good news. luciana is here now but fell asleep after being with me only ten minutes. jonathan said she did not sleep. he said she misses me. she is so young i cannot believe it affects her that much. she seems so comfortable with me now. she is so cute. i love her here by me. you better not be eating ham and cabbage! i am happy you are cheering for the sox even if you are only humoring me. luciana has her redsox shirt on. how is your chest pain?i have to go for now. the trans cardio is here. i do not think luciana is going to wake up so her can examine me. thats ok i am tired of tests and examinations anyway. looking forward to hearing from you. take it easy today! cya janine redsoxgirl

hi. i am really discusted with my sox these last few days. they did not help my stress level today. ha ha luciana was watching with me. jonathan is a dodgers fan. he is from california. jonathan is having a hard time with my condition the past couple days. he is afraid i am not going to survive waiting for the bivad. he told the cardio that. the cardio reassured him he will not let that happen. my biopsy was not good. my heart got worse. so i am so ready for the bivad. the saline i was told will be finished at about 8pm. so if my fever does not come back they will hurry up and give me the bivad. your prayers help me mentally and thats where i need the most prayers very much. i am praying for you. your stem cell procedure will happen. i am not a big cowboy fan. i am not a patriot fan either. if i had my choice of the two i would choose the cowboys. that was really special what you said about luciana. it really does seem like she senses i do not feel well. i think her and i will be close as she grows older. i will be a cool mom. she loves her father too but has been giving him such a hard time. i feel really bad for him. he was a little better today. i had a talk with him. i set him straight. toughened him up a bit. i bet you did have ham and cabbage today! i am really glad you are feeling better. that is probably because you took it easy today. i hope. wow you would wear a sox shirt? i am going to go now. have to have a respiratory treatment now. it was good to hear from you. hope to hear from you soon. janine redsoxgirl

Good morning,
I got the feeling this is going to e a good day. I hope Jonathan is feeling better today. Real hard on him. Your cardio really steps up when needed. Hate to here about the biopsy.,but hopefully, it won't make any difference after today. I'm all positive today. Those darn redsox. I'm sad. Who takes care of Luciana during the day? No ham and cabbage on Monday. Promise. Today's gonna be good.
I'm a little short of breath today probably the valve. I'll be ok. Sorry this is short but gotta get some stuff around the house done. Will write later. Do the same if you can. Everything's good. God loves you.

hi. you better no over do it today. especially if you are sob. call your cardio and let him know how you have been feeling. did your grandchildren come yet? save your energy for them. you do not want to be under the weather when they come. luciana stays with one of my friends who is a stay at home mom. then my mom in law gets her when she gets through with work. then jonathan picks her up when he is home. his job requires him to travel a couple days a week. when he is away luciana stays with my mom in law. jonathan is ok. maybe tomarrow for the bivad. fever is 99. i feel terrible today. like you very bad sob despite oxygen my chest hurts and still a headache. my heart rate is low 52. he said the bivad is looking good. they cannot wait to implant it. carol has a list of chores for ya huh. us women love to make the chore list. i have to eat now. looking forward to hearing from you. please be careful. praying for you to. redsoxgirl janine

Hi,
Hope your feeling a little better. Any more info from your doc.? 99 is good. It gets way hotter than that down here in the summertime. Can't handle it. Gotta stay in. My doctor said it's bad for CHF. your heart has gone from one extreme to the other. Instead of tachycardia you've got bradycardia. Go figure. I bet you were glad that they are getting ready to implant the bivad. After that you sould be able to get out of bed some. That will be nice.
Don't know if I told you but I had to have my bivent icd pacer redone in january.
I originaly had it put in a year ago then it started extruding thru my chest wall. They had to reposition it . THe reason I'm mentioning it is that my incision is bothering me. I hope it 's not trying the same thing again. I guess my body is weird. After both my open hearts my body rejected the sutures and i had to pull them out myself and then had to have chest surgery, incisional hernia, to repair it . I watch things closely after all that. Enough about me.
Hope you have that big day tomorrow. If I don't hear from you i'll know what's going on.The good Lord will be in there with you. We'll be praying.
I better go. I think I'll take a nap. Everything's good.
God Bless,

hello. i apologize for taking so long to write. they had to do a whole bunch of tests on me. after all that i wanted to spend alot of time with luciana because if i get the surgery i will not be able to hold her for a while. how are you feeling? hows the incision? i keep telling you to call your cardio and let him know how you have been feeling. let him decide if you are ok . you have been having too many symptoms lately. that must have been terrible what happened to you and with the pacemaker. my pacemaker is very visable because i am thin. it sunk in a little but not much. my chest scars still hurt and sternum. my pacemaker incision does not hurt. i also have a scar from my caesarean section. i know what you mean my surgeries were never easy either! i am glad you got some rest. the surgeon told me he is removing my pacemaker. it has been basically useless for me. my heart rate is only 46 and blood pressure is 70/35. i know i go from one extreme to another. my blood pressure was always low. that bottom number is quite low. jonathan took off work tommarrow just in case. he is so anxious. i will try and send you a message to let you know if i am getting it done. he wants the temp perfect. one point makes that much of a difference? maybe i can have regular coffee since my heart is beating so slow? i will try anything for regular coffee. ha ha did you lift anything like um plants the other day that would cause your incision to act up ? i am praying for you and also the stem cells. looking forward to hearing from you. i am glad you rested today. take care janine redsoxgirl
