i am 20 and 21 weeks pregnant my ex/ babys dad left me about a month ago with no reason for leaving at all... his answer to everything was i dont know....the thing is everything was fine when he left we werent fighting, he wasnt distant, he told me he loved me and kissed me goodbye when i left in the morning and around noon he texted me and said we should be friends. , i just dont get it. i dont know why he left me.. ive talked to him twice since just to let him know when the doc. appt were. he asked how i was and we talked about the baby for a short sec. but thats it... i wish i knew why he left but really i just want to kno if he will come back...what do u think?

Maybe. It could be he has taken cold feet and needs time out - not that I am saying he should have it, mind you. It seems odd that he had to text you about it rather than talk face to face, so he does probably feel guilty. Anyway, for now he has gone and you have to think about the baby and about the future. You will have to sort out finances and work out what will happen when the baby is born. Do you have any means of support? I am not sure where you live but i would expect that he will be required to pay towards the upkeep of the child so start getting that organised - he really cannot just walk away from this. You have the right to tell him - legally if necessary. It would be ideal if you could get a friend or family member to take care of these things on your behalf as you should be relaxing and concentrating on the pregnancy just now, not this apology for a man.
