Well I have this new boyfriend and I like
him alot.When I first met him he said he
used to smoke pot but didn't anymore.Well
when he got this new job he started
smoking pot and drinking alot.I wouldn't
mind except for the fact that when he is
high he is a mean person and very
distant.He would rather smoke pot than
talk to me.He has bad addiction
problems.When I spend time with him he
just drinks and smokes and pushes me
away.I told him how I felt and he just
said in a mean tone "if you don't like
what I do then don't talk to me".He is 23
years old and is still in the whole party
scene.I don't know what to do anymore,I
like him but not what he does.Any advice
on how I should deal with this?

Honey, get out before anything bad has the
chance to happen. He obviously is not what
you are looking for. You want a
relationship and he wants his party time.
those two do not mesh well together if
something is not compromised. Also, do you
think it's fair of him to take that
attitude toward you? i don't. He sounds
like he doesn't care so I would just leave
him before, like I said, anything has the
chance to happen.
