Everyone is different and you don't want to mess with your metabolism....I don't know why you would want to be so much like your brother. Is there a particular reason why you think you need to be like him? You are still in high school so you are still growing. A lot of your food goes to growing at this point and as you get older it will slow down and you might gain a little more weight.

If you eat healthy and exercise, I'm sure you will come out looking a little less like a stick. Eating more isn't necessarily better. If you want to build up your weight, just take your vitamins and eat healthy foods and exercise.....don't try to gain by eating unhealthy fatty foods.

Even if you do end up being thinner, I gotta tell you, personally, I like my guys that way and I'm sure there's others out there that will dig ya just as well Wink

fantasticj, is your brother older than you? Cuz for us guys, its hard to start gaining serious muscle mass until you really start to hit puberty and your body starts really changing into an adult built. I lifted weights and ate a lot for several years and I couldn't gain much weight. Then in 10th grade, a massive growth spurt started and is continuing until now (I'm in 11th now). Usually, you reach your maximum height and only then do you start growing an adult male built.

Hmmmm. I'm 5 foot 11 and 145lbs and age 16. But two years ago I was 5 foot 9 and 115 lbs. I gained 30lbs after growing those last 2 inches, so maybe the same will happen for you Smile

Lol, there are good things with being skinny like long-distance running for example, I got a bit worse at that after gaining muscle weight. But ya, I'd have to agree that having a muscled frame is better looking on us guys in general

I'm, 5'9, 17yo, and 76kg.. not sure how to convert to lbs.

Fantastic, im not sure what kind of food you have at home, but eat a heap of steak, beef, DAIRY, nuts, chicken, tuna, pasta.. well whatever you can get your hands on, thats not rubbish Smile
Try getting 6 LARGE meals a day. Make sure your lifting weights if you want to get bigger the good way, rather than just become a lard a**, not that it sounds like a problem for you.

Also the most obvious choice is to buy some weight gainer.. powdered calories Smile Nobody should have to put up with their lil bro being bigger than them. Except for my brother =D
Hope this helps!
