reading some old posts.. and everyone says
when they feel the baby move.. it feels
like butterflies.. I never felt that.. I
feel something like a thump/doing it like
someone took there finger and messed me..
is that the baby? Just wondering... Cayla

I didn't get too many butterflies, but
that sounds like the baby to me! I had
more 'pokes' than butterflies, and that's
they way I'd describe it.

i didn't get the butterflies with my
first, i just started feeling pokes at 21
weeks and a week later harder movement
that i could see from the outside.
this time i started feeling movement right
around 14 weeks. i think i just didn't
notice it with my first because i didn't
really know what to expect. i'm sure it
was happening, i just wasn't taking
notice.

I think mines gonna be an acrobat because
I swear it does flips... no seriously,
it'll go from breech to vertex depending
on the week... which I hope it settles
before I go into labor! Head down of
course!

lol. Well for delivery, you want baby to
face toward your back. A sunny side up
baby, I've heard, is HORRID to deal with.
Imagine their head bone hitting your tail
bone :shudders: I'm not sure exactly what
way s/he is facing, all I know is I keep
getting a foot/leg in my rib. and what I
think is a punch to the hip... ouchie...

hehe.. he is under my belly button.. I
went and laid down to see if I could get
him to move and he kicked/punched me like
4 times right under my belly button.. I
was like.. uh look my belly button is
breathing hehe.. It was cool.. I love it.
.I have the most biggest smile on my
face... cause i felt it with my hand..
normally he quits moving when I touch
him..

I don't remember butterflies as much as
feeling like I had gas - sorry, not as
nice sounding as butterflies. That was
pretty early on in the pregnancy, though.
My first baby was sunnyside up. I had
horrible back labor.

wow. Babies like to
get in some awkward positions. I still
can't figure out how they deliver babies
that come out back first...
