Sorry this is going to be long.......... About a week ago I started to have stomach cramps that just made me moan in pain when they hit me. They subsided a bit. I started to feel bloated, but blamed it on pouchitis(i have no colon & I get that now & then). My gyn put me on prenatal vitamins since my husband & I want to start trying in a few months - he wanted me to get started on vitamins now. Well after 2 days of them I quit taking them cuz I was constipated & thought it was from them. Normally with no colon you're never constipated!! The day I stopped taking the vit. I felt like I was getting a yeast infection except it never burned or itched or got anyworse than some swelling. Some discharge, but never got worse. Then I started bleeding on monday... Don't usually get my period until tues. Morn. Like clock work & is gone by thurs. Morn. - well i've had very light bleeding(normal) but it hasn't stopped yet.?? I've had terrible headaches for about 4 days now that make you want to cry & the yeast infection feeling is about gone now. Are these symptoms of pregnancy?? Or just the weather??? Let me know what you think...Thanks.

Hi mabel, it's very hard to say. Everyone is different and all of us experience different symptoms with each one of our pregnancies. There is such a thing as implantation bleeding which is very light but only usually lasts a couple of days. Implantation bleeding being caused by the embryo attaching itself to the lining of the uterus not long after conception. Some women do report headaches. Some of the more common early pregnancy symptoms are sore breasts, extreme fatigue and tiredness, and the urge to urinate (a lot). Maybe you could make an appointment to see your doc ? It is really important that you are able to take vitamins during pregnancy, aswell as folic acid, so if they are causing you constipation maybe your doc could recomend some that don't cause you constipation.
