Implantation Bleeding or Early Period? Posted: 02-26-08 05:39am
Well I've been reading a lot on this
implantation bleeding & it seems like I
may be experiencing it. Anyways, let me
introduce myself, my name is Dawn & i'm
sixteen years old. My last period was
February 1st & I normally have a regular
28 day cycle, so I'm technically not due
til the 29th of this month. Well on the
23rd of this month, exactly a week before
I was normally supposed to start, I
starting bleeding, not heavy like usual &
it's not a red as it usually is, actually
it's not even red, at all. Between the
11th & 21st of this month, everyday me &
my boyfriend had unprotected sex, more
than one time a day too. I know for a fact
he only came in me once but he had a big
problem with pre-cum. & I had to of been
ovulated during that time. Anyways, this
so-called-period that I'm experiencing
right now is definitely a lot lighter. How
to explain it though? It started off like
a normal period, then quickly it got
really light. I went from a bright red, to
a pink now it's just a brown spotting &
this is my third day of my "period" &
normally it last five days. I used one
tampon & one pad [neither had barely
anything on it] so far, & usually I'm
going through atleast two-three tampons a
day. I mean I'm not even using one now, I
only see the brownish/red blood when I
wipe. I've had a period every month since
I was thirteen years old & never once has
this happend. & I did notice this bleeding
I'm experiencing comes & goes. I can't say
my nipples are sore or my boobs hurt cause
they don't which is another unusual thing
for me, usually during my period I have
sore breasts, they do seem a tad bit
bigger though. I have been peeing alot
lately, - & I just went pee for the second
time in a hour, & when I wiped the blood
was very VERY faint, couldn't even tell it
was there, barely. I've been eating alot
lately too, these past couple of days. &
another thing when I have my period I have
a lot of clots, this time I've seen maybe
one clot. That's it. & my cramps I've been
experiencing don't even feel like
menstrual cramps at all. Now that I think
about it I have felt ALITTLE nauseated &
feel more tired than usual. I've been up
for four hours & feel tired as hell right
now, just can't bring myself to sleep.
Been burping alot too, & I believe I
forgot to mention I've never been on
birth-control. I'm just really confused. &
by the way, now when I wipe I have
nothing. This just isn't normal for me.

Why Why Why would you even do this? You
don't sound like a stupid person but your
actions would suggest otherwise. Sorry, I
know that I sound very rude but I just
can't understand why you would knowingly
put your self in this situation. It sounds
as if you are trying to get
pregnant....unprotected sex multiple times
a day everyday while you are ovulating???
Anyway, if your not trying to get pregnant
then your going about it all the wrong
ways, you should have used protection and
you could have obtained the mornig after
pill. As far as your current symptoms,
most sympotoms (which are different for
everyone) are felt after the missed
period., so I would say that you are still
a little too early. The spotting/bleeding
could mean nothing....when I was your age
my period was all over the place and
varied form light to heavy, so that
bleeding could have been your period. You
need to wait and take a test. I really
hope that you are not pregnant and that
you will do the smart thing and get on
birth control.

I honestly feel pretty stupid. I can say
though, I was not trying to get pregnant
& I can't tell you why I did what I
did. Especially during the time I did it.
I just hope this is all in my head &
isn't real. I just am really confused
right now. I can't believe this is
actually happening, to me of all people.
But you know if I am pregnant I am going
to do what I'm supposed to do. Not gonna
take the easy way out & go for
abortion or adoption. I'm the one who
spread my legs, I'll be the one to deal
with the consequences.

Those are the exact words everyone says
when they get pregnant on purpose but they
want people to think it was an accident.
Your parents are the ones who will have to
deal with the consequences. You can't
even take care of yourself, how could you
possibly care for a child? Your parents
will have to pay for everything, and
babysit all day while you are at school.
If they wanted to have a baby they would
have had another one by themselves.

Exactly Futureshock. I have a hard time
believing any girl who didn't want to get
pregnant would have unprotected sex when
it's very likely to get pregnant.
Especially not with parents like that.
I'm really glad you think putting your
child up for adoption or having an
abortion is the "easy way out" as opposed
to having a child and letting your parents
pay for everything. Adoption is incredibly
hard on the mother, she's giving up the
child she just took care of for nine
months, not because she doesn't want it,
but because she wants what's best for her
child. If you want to go through with a
pregnancy, the child is what should come
first.

I agree. I also think keeping the child
is the most selfish choice in many cases,
because some people just want to have a
baby, regardless of their ability to care
for one. The burden of this choice is
shouldered by everyone else in their life
who will have to make sacrifices to care
for the newborn.
