Reason for heavy bleeding during sex? Posted: 02-26-08 19:18pm
I had a strange experience last weekend
and I was wondering if anyone can help me.
I guess first I should start out with the
fact that my period skipped the month of
January, it was supposed to come on the
17th. I took a pregnancy test and it came
back negative, and my period finally came
Feb 8. It was normal, and it ended like
normal.
Then as I was having sex for the third
round in a night, my boyfriend stopped for
a moment and realized that there was a lot
of blood on him. He got up to go to the
bathroom and I sat on the floor and
realized I had gotten blood all over a
pillow. Then I stood up and realized I had
made a puddle of blood on the floor. Blood
started to run down my legs and I hurried
to the bathroom, panicking, and I had to
sit on the toilet for quite some time,
maybe an hour or so. I bled a lot. There
wasn't really much pain, just slight pain,
but that was mainly from soreness from the
sex. It was a lot more blood than a
period, and it was redder as well. I felt
really weak and got pale, and the bleeding
slowed up eventually but continued very
lightly for the next few days.
I can't seem to find an explanation for
this. It's never happened to me before.
Granted the sex was rougher than what I'd
been accustomed to, but I don't think it
would cause this much bleeding. I didn't
have tears or anything like that either.
Does anyone have any answers? A friend of
mine thinks it could have been a
miscarriage, but I had gotten my period
just before. What's going on? Thanks for
your time!!

same thing, but different Posted: 02-29-08 13:04pm
hi there, i just wanted to let you know
that the same thing happened to me ..
today actually, i was quite nervous
however, i put a black towel between my
legs and decided to look something up
online .. after figuring out that the same
thing happened to you, i'm less nervous
about the whole thing .. see what happened
with me was, i was pleasuring myself with
a new toy that i recently bought and it
was the second time i used it .. i was
feeling fine and then all of a sudden, i
took one of my hands up for a second and
it was covered in blood .. i had felt
something hurt for a second because the
toy slid out and i had pushed it back in
but it hit around my clitoris area first
and it kind of hurt .. the next thing i
know, i'm in the bathroom on the toilet
and i'm bleeding a mile a minute .. i was
very scared and just like you said, the
blood was redder than my period and i
already got my period last week .. the
same thing probably happened to us, i'm
just not sure what .. but i think it might
have had something to do with maybe
cutting or tearing some part of your
vagina .. just know that you're not going
through this alone .. if anyone has any
advice for either of us, it woud be much
appreciated

Ahhh, that's relieving. So strange that
someone else has had that happen too. But
so far no one has been able to help me.
I'm sort of wondering when my next period
is going to be here, what it will be like
or what?? It's strange though because I
didn't have any pain like something got
torn! Hmm.. Still waiting for help!
someone??

Sorry, but what is PCOS? I'm completely
oblivious to this kind of thing.
