A few months ago I noticed blood in the
toilet after a bowel movement. The amount
was enough to scare me so I went to see
the doctor. He said I had a very large
hemorrhoid but he did not see it bleeding
in the office. He gave me some
suppositories and also some antibiotics
for an infection. I finished the
treatment and did not notice any blood in
my stool at all for weeks. Recently I am
bleeding again when I have a bowel
movement and I feel like I have to go all
day but I don't. I also have gerd so I am
assuming the constant feeling of having to
defecate is related to that, I was just
wondering if this sounds like an internal
hemorrhoid? I would rather not spend the
money and waste a gastro doc's time
getting scoped for just a hemorrhoid.
Thanks.
