cracking bones and joints

I%u2019m sure this question has been asked quite often (although i cannot find it on this forum and don%u2019t really trust other internet sites Razz ).

I%u2019m sure we have all %u201Ccracked%u201D a finger of two. But ALL my bones/joints seem to crack. E.g. fingers in all places and directions, same with toes, jaw, lower back, knees, wrists and elbow (in fact its more like the void in between my radius and ulna).

What causes this?

And should I been concerned?

Many thanks

I have been wandering that too allthough I do know that when "cracking" a joint, the "sinovial fluid"...meaning the lubrication between your joints...releases an air pocket that causes the popping sound.

You might want to also look at http://en.wikipedi a.org/wiki/Cracking_joints.

I have been having strange joint cracking as of late as well...the one being from the front, center of my rib cage. Which might be related to the fact that the left side of my rib-cage is more pronounced than the right...(no idea why and my physio & bio keeps wanting to know when I broke my ribs... 0.0 even though I have never broken any 0.o or even fallen that would have caused it to get hurt o.0 )

Yep as seraph said its only the sinoval fluid between ur joints releasing trapped air it is neither dangerous or the cause of arthritis as i am commonly asked lol.
