yeast infection and discharge Posted: 02-27-08 15:34pm
I
think i may have a yeast infection but I
have not yet got anything for it or saw a
doctor. I am sexually active and have been
with only one partner. I have had symptoms
of a yeast infection before but they went
away except one-dischrage. Now just
yesterday after intercourse I had like a
tan like color discharge. i've had brown
dischrage before before or after my period
but this was lighter. I want to go get
something for this infection like the
monistat pill but what I would like to
know is is this something worse than a
yeast infection? If so what should I do?

A yeast infection smells... well, yeasty.
Like you are baking bread in your undies.
It also itches to high freaking heaven!
You might have something other than a
yeast infection. You should never assume
discharge is a yeast infection and treat
for yeast, it could be something entirely
different.
Go see a doctor.

i second that. get it checked out before
you treat it. its possible to take away
the symptoms without taking away the
infection if its not a yeast infection.
