Well i left my school at the time pretty
much straight away to go onto
correspondence school. I think you pretty
much know or think that half the people at
school are talking about you and a lot of
people told me i had screwed up my life, i
lost a lot of friends (either they didnt
agree with me getting pregnant and keeping
the baby or i just didnt fit in anymore
coz i couldnt do what everyone else was
doing). This didnt really upset me too
much it jst p****d me off a bit lol,
especially when people told me i would
never make anything of myself anymore!

Futureshock I was popping in
to post just that! Also, I just noticed
you have a sheltie! I have one too (same
colouring and everything) and they're just
the sweetest dogs!
KrystineM- doctors always measure from LMP
(last menstral period), you should know
that. Your doc's estimate sounds pretty
bang on at 15-16
weeks.
lol! Great minds think alike!
Sheltiea are great. We have another,
also. She's a blue merle. Plus we have a
bichon frise puppy.

I would tell you what it was
like to be a pregnant teen if I
knew...lol
I found out I was pregnant when I was 16
years old and had my son when I was 17,so
I am a teen mom.I just don't feel like a
teen mom.
I dropped out of school and started doing
correspondance before I got pregnant,I
left home when I was 14 years old, started
working for the carnival at 15 and then
left with my boyfriend when I was 16.I
found out a couple months later I was
pregnant.Sure I was scared,it wasn't a
planned pregnancy,I still felt I was too
young to be a mom.I never had to deal with
the pressures of school and pregnancy like
most teens,I had a job where nobody knew I
was pregnant until pretty much the end
when I left for maternity.I didn't show
very much,I have pictures of when I was 7
months along and I had no noticeable baby
bump.I didn't start showing til about the
middle of the 8th month and then I got
HUGE!
Sorry I'm not much help,if you have any
more questions,just let me
know
my question wasnt do you feel like a teen
mom, it was how did teen pregnancy [seeing
as ou were a teen when you fell pregnant]
make you feel or effect you socially
emotionally and stress wise &if you
stayed in school or not.

and in my response it says that I didn't
really feel like a pregnant teen as I had
left school and left home at the age of
14,got pregnant when I was 16.
I didn't have to deal with classmates
saying anything,I didn't really have to
deal with anybody saying anything because
nobody could tell I was pregnant til I was
about 7 months along.
People now when they find out how old I am
don't say anything about me being 19 with
a 2 year old,in fact they generally are
surprised that I am younger than they
thought.

i understand, just the way you answered my
question i wanted it to be cleared up.
because after all, even if you didnt feel
like a teen mom, you were a teen when
pregnant.
thanks for the response.
