My New Birth Control..... Posted: 05-08-04 02:17am
Hey everyone. I went to the doctor
yesterday for my 6 week check up. We
talked about birth control but she really
wanted to put me on either the patch or
the pill. She didn't really want to put
me on the shot because I have a bad
history of depression and that is one of
the side effects. So what she did was put
me on a mini-pill birth control called
errin. Has anyone used this? I started
taking them at 9:30 last night and about 1
my throat felt dry and sore....Is that
normal? Well anyways she said if I do
good on these she will put me on the shot
in august when I go back fo a pap smear.
She kind of worried me......Do you think I
would be better off switching to the patch
instead? I have to wait until I am done
breast feeding though because she said it
can dry up you milk supply. What do yall
think???

No the patch isnt that good really. I was
on it after sean and it didnt do me very
well. The lint lfrom your clothes gets
stuck around it and makes it look nasty.
When I switched it from my butt (you have
to put it in a new spot each week, like
switch off, so I put it on my shoulder and
I was swimming and the freaking thing fell
off.. I think that you should go on a
pill. After I had sean I went back on
what I was on before ortho evra. Well
that messed with my stomach so I am now on
ortho tri cyclin lo.

Lol thats funny cuz for me it never fell
off even if I scratched it or showered or
anything. Its different for all people so
take what you want. I couldnt get on the
pill cuz I forget easily and I would have
forgotten to take it lol

Thing is stacie, I didn't wanna be on the
pill cuz I can hardly remember to take my
pills everyday, let alone the same time.
But I am gonna try and be good about it.
Ill carry them around in my purse if I
have to.
