Hello everyone whats the difference in degenerated disks and disk protrusion/extrusion? And disk buldge? Its all confusing to me. My last mri is showing lots of disk protrusions and just wanted to know. Thank you :d rachel

Degenerative disk disease is when you disk are deteriorating(sp) either due to an injury or some people can get it with age, bulging disk is almost like a herniated disk only there not as big I have both in my neck depending on the extent of injury and location some have fusions to fix the bulge, or even other surgery, I opted not to do either hpe this helps
