Are You Supposed to Get Your Period the Same Day? Posted: 05-13-04 08:09am
Hi. I'm currently taking trileven-28 and
it's been about 6 months that I have been
taking it. Everytime I have gotten my
period it has been on the wednesday when
i'm on the sugar pills (sunday start).
Last time I had my period; however, I got
my period on thursday morning instead and
it was pretty normal, except the fact that
I didnt get it on wednesday. When taking
birth control do you always get your
period the same exact day or can it
fluctuate one or two days like it happened
to me? I'm just wondering because when it
happened I was kind of worried. Thank you
for any comments anyone might have.

I get my period every wednesday too, and
it usually is the same but I would worry
if it was only a couple hours late.

My first month I got my period on thursday
morning... Every month after that so far
i've gotten it later at night (around 9 or
10 pm).. First I was worried, but figured
that my body was just getting used to the
change, I don't believe that you have
anything to worry about, it could have
just been caused by taking one pill late
or something too.. But as long as you got
your period, I don't think you have much
to worry about.

I have been on the pill for 14 years, and
I normally get my period on a tuesday,
depending on if I take the pill the same
time everyday I have gotten it a day
earlier or a day later I dont think you
have anything to worry about

Mine varies. It will either happen on
wednesday or thurdsay. As the others
said, I would not worry as long as you get
it!
