Could I Have Hpv? Please Help!!! Posted: 05-13-04 12:57pm
I may be worrying for no reason and will
ask my doctor as well, but I need some
advice. I know very little about hpv so I
am asking. I dated a girl for about 2
months. She informed me towards the end
that she had the virus. Thankfully, I can
say that I am a virgin so obviously only
limited sexual contact occurred. All that
took place was kissing and handjobs
(washed hands right after). No oral sex
took place the entire duration- except one
single touch of my tounge to her gentals
at which I got scared and backed off. She
did the same for a second (or less) and
also backed off. This is the only sexual
contact we ever had. I don't know much
about how this is contracted and notice no
abnormalities on myself whatsoever. It
has been about 9 months since our breakup
and for the sake of a new girlfriend who
wants to be sexually active please shed
some light on this!!! Thanks!!

You probably do not since you did not have
intercourse. You could get warts in your
mouth if it is a strand of the virus that
causes warts. Ask your doctor, but I
wouldn't worry.
But, be careful next time!
