Eat crackers, like saltine or other mild
crackers not cheesy or peanut buttery
crackers (caps) all day long!! And drink
water and milk all the time. Milk works
best for me.

Well, you can eat crackers, but that will
make you constipated... Anything ginger
is good. Try ginger ale, ginger snaps,
anything with real ginger. That should
help... And, eat before you get hungry,
and stop eating before you get full.
Thats about all you can do.. Your doc can
give you something for the morning
sickness too... If you think it is too
much

Lucky for me, I don't get constipated!
Also - i'm only seven weeks, so you'd
probably know better than me, but crackers
or yogurt and milk work better for me than
anything else.

Well I use gum, mints and soda. Not too
much soda though. I use tums too. That
really helps alot. I find it does for me
anyways. You should take 3 a day because
it has calcium for your baby too.

Im 12 weeks and im always sick. Popsicles
have helped me, but fruit ones, not some
crazy 8 color popsicle. I also drink a lot
of water, and during the day when im not
throwing up I eat a lot of fruit. Milk
definitley does help. Good luck, you can
send me messages if you wanna talk.

you should be careful about this. The
main thing that tums does, besides
calcium, is to neutralize the acids in
your stomach. This is fine when you have
heartburn, but taking antacids every day
can actually be harmful. This is how:
when you take a tums when you have
heartburn, the tums neutralizes the excess
stomach acid and so your stomach returns
to normal with the normal levels of acid.
When you take it when you don't have
heartburn, your acid levels drop below
where they're supposed to be, and your
stomach cannot digest your food properly,
which means you don't get the nutrition
out of the food. In a worst case
scenario, large pieces of undigested food
can lodge in your digestive tract and
cause serious infections. This is rare,
but possible. Your baby needs all the
nutrition it can get, so especially during
pregnancy, and especially since there
other forms of calcium and calcium
supplements out there, I wouldn't suggest
loading up on tums.
And last but not least, the more acid you
neutralize, the more acid your stomach
will produce just to try to level off the
balance in your stomach. Eventually you
may find that if you stop taking antacids
you'll have heartburn worse than ever.
