Early Pregnancy Signs and Symptoms Forum - Positve Or Negitive
Has anyone out there ever got negitive
reading on a pregnancy test when it was
really positive? What are the chances?
Is it normal as in happens all the time or
just every now and then?

If you take a pregnancy test and are
pregnant, but a negative sign shows up,
you could just not have enough of the
hormone for which it tests, in which case
waiting a week or so will usually give a
better reading. False negatives are far more
common than false positive, but
false positives may happen. It seems
you've been concerned about pregnancy for
some time now, have you taken more than
one pregnancy test, or just one? If you
have taken many subsequent tests and
they're all negative, but you're still
late, there are still several reasons your
period is late, not the least of which
being stress, also some std's also can
delay a period. How late are you? You
may need to see a doctor about this.

Last night I woke up to go to the restroom
and realized my period had come, I was so
dissapointed, I really wanted to be
pregnant, all I can tell myself is better

Its always fun to try, I just recently got
a new job to try and keep my mind off
having a baby, I think about it so much
its apart of my life everyday, I think
that could be a reason I havent succeded

I am so mad at these dumb pregancy test!!
I have taken a total of 2 at home and
then one at the Dr. Office and even a
blood test too. I took the blood test
and the urine test after 3 days of not
getting my period then they said it was
neg. So I waited to either get my period
or wait till I was 8 days late. So I
waited till I was 8 days late no period
and the test is still neg!!!!!!!!! I am
so bummed out. We have been trying to
have another child since nov. Of last
year and finally I am really late and the
test come back neg every time. I am
going to make another Dr. Appointment as
soon as the office is open on tuesday but
I thought maybe some one else has some
answers. I could use the support that
this isn't just a fluke and it is normal
all though when I had my first child I was
4 days late and the test was very positive
I think that is one of the things that

I am 2 weeks late, I went to the doctor
becuase for the last few weeks I had been
having weird cramps....Anyways, she game a
pee test. It was negative (this was a
week ago) she did a pap...All was ok. But
still no period!!!!!!! I dont even feel
like it is comming......No period
craps...No swollen breasts I
have heard of women having false
negatives, so I guess I jsut have to wait
and see if my period ever comes!!!!!! Its
very frustrating.

I've heard that false negatives are a
common thing just not false
positives.......Sometimes the female body
can just be real unpredictable~!!!
