I was diagnosed with bipolar about 9 years
ago. My husband and I are considering
starting a family. Currenly I am on
medication that will seriously harm the
baby. I tried posting this in the
bipolar forum but no one responded. I
thought if I came to this forum I might
have better luck. I so much desire to
have children but frankly it scares me to
death. I am scared about going off my
meds, about passing on the disorder, about
not being able to breastfeed since the
rate for post partum is 50-80% for me. I
need advice about evrything. Can anyone
help me?
