Im doing a pursuasive speech on teen
pregnancy and I havent thought of any
questions just yet but I thought you girls
would be a really great help and so
whatever you guys think would be great for
my speech then it would be very helpful.

Like I have to persuade the class that
something is good or bad..But I just want
to tell them to wait til they are older
but if it does happen there are ppl thatll
help you and give facts on how u still can
get pregnant etc.

Thats like the report I did. But I mainly
persuaded people that if you get pregnant
as a teen you can still make it.

thats when I have that class...I have a
question...Why would my right arm be
swallon and tingling and hurting really
bad since I woke up this morning and its
now 8:15am?

I had to do a persuasive speech, and I
tried to persuade them that it would be a
good move to put a daycare in my school,
they are still going over it for future
plans!!

Lol the teacher was to deaf to hear me so
I didnt get an answer  and my tep teacher
isnt here to help me so I wont know til
tomorrow. O yea..I still have that pain
in my arm...Does anybody know anything
that could cause it?

Ok ladies...The results to on what I have
to persuade about. She said I cant have
two sides of the story because then im not
persuading but whatever. She said to say
how to prevent it and how it all falls
into place and why ppl are doing it? I
dont understand the last part cause I said
we arent doin anything on purpose it just
happens and she said somethin about tv and
other ppl doing it so they want to have
sex. Im so confused..Help if anyone can.

Persuasive speeches do a couple of
things.
1 - identify a problem, or potential
problem. In this case, your so-called
problem is teen pregnancy.
2 - identify what causes the problem. In
this case, teen pregnancy is caused by
teens having sex without the proper
protection.
3 - identify ways to solve the problem.
In this case, to solve the problem of teen
pregnancy, teens must start using birth
control methods of some type, whether it
be the pill, the shot, condoms,
abstinences, etc.
4 - persuade your audience to change their
lifestyle to incorporate 3 into their
mindset. In this case, you want to
persuade all the teens out there that teen
pregnancy is a real risk unless they take
the steps described in 3.
Use those bs statistics in the post
somebody posted a while ago. That's what
your teacher is going to want to here.
Make teen pregnancy look like the scourge
of earth. You'll do fine
