I have to say I think its mega expensive
for what u actually get but its the
quality of the material that is worth so
much, there is a panic eliminator on one
of the cd's and linden explains it all so
simply,my panic has decreased a lot since
using the programme...I can send u the cd
if u like?
It's worth it, believe me:)

I have purchased the linden method and it
does work. As you say big man he has
been through a lot, however I have to say
, that I can understand someone being
cautious and asking whether or not it is a
con. I was also cautious before
purchasing and I actually emailed them
first to find out a bit more about it.

Hi thanks for replys I didnt mean it to
sound nasty I do understand why he is
trying to help people and I wrote to him
personally and had a reply. Its just I
have been conned in the past and my hopes
and dreams were dashed. I had spent hell
of a lot of money from hynotherapy which
never really helped in anyway. I
basically just wanted to know if someone
as either done it or doing it. You say
that it has helped you in what way do you
feel better hope you dont mind me asking
.

Linden Method - to Binza

Binza
i hope you do decide to go ahead with the
linden method.
You ask how it makes people feel.
Everyone experiences anxiety in different
ways. All I can say is - when anxious
you can't seem to focus on anything else
outside of yourself and your own
feelings.
When you listen to this method, it takes
you away from yourself and back into the
real world. The fear of fear starts to
go.
We all get locked into fear at some time
in our lives, but due to personal
circumstances, the time you are locked in
varies. With some people it might be fear
of exams, which when over, goes away
(until the next time). However, for
others there might be time when these
fears go on for a long time and therefore
the brain registers it as a habit.
Breaking a habit takes awhile, and you may
need help.
There is a scientific reason as well and
when that is explained to you, it is a
tremendous help (it was to me anyway).
Good luck, I spent 35 years (on and off -
more on than off) in what I called the
scared zone. It takes away your
identity, your self esteem, your sense of
self. I recommend you try the lindon
method.

Hi bundle thanks for the reply im glad to
hear you are doingreally well on the
linden method. Its so good to hear . My
anxiety is fear related it seems
everything as gone out of proportion with
me. I had a bad panic attack 7yrs ago in
our car, luckily I wasnt the driver I was
a backseat passenger when it happened ever
since then my life as been upside down a
total mess, I cant travel anymore long
distance local im not to bad but the fear
still there, basically the thoughts are
with me when I get up till I go to bed. I
just feel im trapped in a shell life
around me isnt interesting were it used to
be, the fear factor as seemed to taken me
over.
I had hynotherapy and it didnt work for me
and I lost £400 and I felt very let down
and I lost my confidence in people so
trusting is a big thing for me. I am
going to try the linden method it seems
what I need to break me out of this, like
you say everyone is different with anxiety
not any 2 are the complete same .
Anyway thanks alot for getting back
intouch with me with my questions and I
wish you the very best of luck with the
linden method.
Many thanks binza :d

I have just returned from the global
retreat centre in oxford. I have attended
the inner power seminar with the bhrama
kahumanis.
Yoga meditation - it as wonderful. Get
back to finding you through meditation.
That alongside linden method should work.
Having the panic attack was just s aymptom
of somthething else that is not sitting
right for you. However, there is only
one person that can change it for you -
you. Good luck
bundle.

Hello,
I have a friend who feels that the linden
method truly gave him his life back. He
said he was able to call in and get help
over the phone too.
I found this website that compares
different panic & anxiety attack
relief methods.
http://anxietypanicattacks.org
They also have some free articles on the
site.

I would aslo be interested in finding out
if the linden method helps with
agoraphobia. i think that is what i am
suffering from. Fear has totally taken
over my life, i am scared of everything.
I only feel truly safe when i am at home
and my husband is there. Also does anyone
know if there is a way to buy maybe a used
linden method package online somewhere to
help cut down on the cost?

I used to have crippling anxiety. Here is
what I did. I completely stopped all drugs
and alcohol. I am now quitting smoking. I
began doing energy work, getting a reiki
attunement; this is because I realized the
electricity i felt was something real that
other people had learned to use as a Gift
instead of an Impediment. This has taught
me how to relax. I am learning to become a
Yoga teacher, once again, because I must
learn how to relax my body (it has learned
how to become tense, so I must unlearn
this.) All of this has happened over the
course of three years (the rise and fall
of my anxiety) It was the worst feeling
ever, but by changing my life step by step
I am over coming it and turning the worst
parts of it into the best parts of my life
now. If anyone has any questions, just
shoot me an email.

I started experiencing anxiety and panic
abut a year and a half ago. I don't know
much about this stuff, especially since
I'm so young and haven't really been
around anyone who has suffered from
anxiety and or panic attacks. I was
searching about them online, when I came
across an article on The Linden Method. I
was excited to see that something seemed
to be helping people. Having to deal with
this amount of anxiety and not being able
to really talk to someone about it, I was
realy excited about this. But then I saw
the price. I have no way of paying for
that. Is there anything anybody else can
reccomend me that will help, but does not
cost too much?

I've been looking at the Linden method
today as a'cure' for my panic attacks. I
have tried 3 hypnotherapists at a cost of
£700. And Cognitive Behavioral therapy
through my GP - because of the type of
panic attacks I have, this would never
work. I have panic attacks because I am
scared of losing control of my bowel. The
more I panic the more times I need to go,
so I cant 'force' myself to control the
panic. I panic in traffic, in cars and
taxis - scared that I cant get to a loo in
time. I know its crazy , I'm intelligent,
I used to be fun, happy, confident. Now I
am a wreck. My life is scary.
I want to scream SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME.
I have tears in my eyes. Why is this so
difficult. My mind knows what to do, I
keep telling myself to ignore it, fight
it. But my body caves in to the
impulses.
I think I'll give the Linden method a go -
what have I got to lose??

Charliedog,
I know exactly how you feel. I also have
the fear of losing my bowels. I got the
fear after I was diagnosed with Irritable
Bowel Syndrome and I started having a lot
of stomach problems and had to use the
restroom a lot. I had one bad episode a
few years ago on the way home from a trip
to Mexico where we were stuck in traffic
at the border and I couldn't make it to a
bathroom. Ever since then the fear has
become paralyzing. I had to buy a
campervan so that I could get myself to
drive anywhere. The camper van has a
toilet so now I will actually drive some
places, but my fear had gotten so bad that
even that isn't the complete fix because i
am still scared of being away from home.
So if i have to be more than 30 minutes
from home I start to go into panic.
Did you have some episode that triggered
this fear? Do you know where it came
from?
I have slowly tried to do more things that
make me uncomfortable to try and slowly
reduce the fear, but it is really hard. I
am also still considering the linden
method, but i just wish it weren't so
expensive.

panic attacks

I also have been diagnosed with IBS. I
wonder what started first - the panic
attacks or the IBS? Like you, I am
considering buying a campervan for our
summer holiday - it would relieve some of
the stress. I too had an incident that
started it all off. 10 years ago, on a
weekend away with my boyfriend, I had a
terrible bad stomach during the night
resulting in a 2 hour visit to the
bathroom. The next day I was still unwell
but my boyfriend had booked a really
expensive restaurant for lunch. The drive
there I was very nervous. When I got to
the restaurant I was very nervous and kept
rushing to the bathroom. I could hardly
eat anything and kept rushing to the
toilet. On my return, every time we went
for a meal I would rush to the bathroom
and empty my bowels - sometimes before I
had finished my meal. I also have had a
couple of a'accidents'. I know that my
problem is the FEAR of having an attack.
But its very difficult to ignore a message
to the brain indicating you need the
toilet? Its NOT like thinking you are
going to have a heart attack - that wont
happen, but mine and your problem DOES
happen? I think we should both give it a
go? There are some copies on ebay for
half the price. I'd like to try it, you
never know. Let me know how you get on?

Thanks for the tip. Maybe I will check
out Ebay to see if I can find a deal. I
know I should try it out. Like you said
it is hard to ignore the fear when it is
making me have real symptoms that I can
not just ignore. I have to use the
restroom. I also have a history of
fainting spells that have been
unexplained, so it is tough to tell myself
I will be fine when there have been many
times that I have not been fine. it is
just very difficult battle for me so I
could sure use anything that will help.

Hi Katrina
I'll tell you how I manage my ' needing to
go' - this works if you have a planned
event eg going on holiday. My Dr
suggested taking Loperamide 2mg. Thats
the generic name, you may have heard of
Imodium which people take to control
diarrhoea. If you have stomach problems
every day you can take 1 every day or
every other day. But I only use them if I
am worried about going somewhere eg on
holiday. I used to have to take them when
I was going to the hairdressers - 1 hour
in the chair used to put me in a panic,
but now I rarely have a problem I think
I've reprogrammed that one! You would
normally take Loperamide on the onset of a
bowel problem but having IBS you have to
plan the day before. So, if I was flying
tomorrow i would take 2 this morning, 2 at
lunchtime and 2 this evening - believe me
you will NOT go to the loo for AT LEAST 2
days! My Dr says I can take up to 12 in
24hrs so they are quite safe. Imodium is
quite expensive in the UK but I can buy
boxes of 30 Loperamide for about £3
(6$). I couldnt manage at all without
them. Why dont you give them a try. You
can test them out on short local trips
first?
