So Scared!!!!!!!!!! (this Might Be Tmi)

Omg everyone im soo scared! I just went
to the bathroom and I felt it was so odd
cuz I thought I felt somethin kinda on my
underwear and when I went to the bathroom
and wiped, there was a huge glob (it
looked like a big glob of snot) and I was
really really scared cuz I heard thats
what ur mucus plug looks like so (here's
where it might be tmi sorry guys!) but I
kinda touched it to see and it even felt
snotlike..... Is that bad???? Im really
scared here.. Im not getin any pains...
I had a bit of braxton hicks a few mins
ago but they're gone now... Is it
anythign to be worried about?? Im soo
freaking out here!!!!!!

Shauna id go to the hospital...Did it have
a tint of color to it? Kinda like a light
red color? I read that the mucus plug has
a tint of red(blood) but does look like
snot. Call ur doc and tell him and or go
to the hospital for a check up to make
sure it wasnt ur mucus plug..Good luck

It wasnt on my underwear, it was when I
wiped so I cant bring that to show her but
I checked to see if it had any red color
to it when I was in the bathroom and it
didnt.. But do u think I should call my
doc in case? I called my mom and she said
sometimes women can have a lot of
discharge like that, it all depends on how
the baby's sittin or somethin but I dont
know.. Should I just call her in case?
Everytime I call my doc her nurse answers
and says "i'll leave her a message and get
her to call u back" but they never call me
back!!!! What should I do??

What if you tell the receptionist it's an
emergency? Maybe she'll let you speak to
a real nurse even if you can't talk to the
doctor.

I'd call and say its an emergency and a
message wont work this time. If u say its
an emergency they have to let u talk to ur
doctor. If they dont then either keep
callin til u can or go there. Just call
to make sure  good luck

Yeah. Just call every minute or every
five minutes. She can't keep you from
calling and she'll be so sick of you
calling that she'll _make_ the doctor talk
to you!

Ugh I am so mad! I waited for the nurse
to call me back and she didnt. I called
her at 2 o clock and now its 3:05. My sis
was there for a doc appt too and I guess
she called my mom to give her a ride and
my mom told her about me and my sis was
standing next to the doctor and the nurse
and so my sis asked the doctor about it
and told her why I was scared and the
nurse was all "oh yah I forgot to give her
that mesage, I was just gonna do that
right now" like what!!!!! I wait an hour
and she hasnt even given the doc the
message!!! I was even crying to the nurse
on the phone! The doc told my sis I
shouldnt worry but I wanted her to like,
check me to make sure or somethin... Like
I was scared s***less! Im gonna tell my
doctor I dont like that nurse becuz this
is like the 5th time ive called and they
said they'd call meback and they didnt....
That just angers me off!

Well she finally(caps) gave the message
when my sis told the doc but they still
never called. I guess they figured that
my sis would just pass the message onto
me.... Like how dumb is that? What if I
never talked to my sis? The least they
could do is call me and tellme themselves
that they think its gonna be fine and im
okay.... I shouldnt hafta sit here and
worry.... Man I am so mad!

Pff I wouldnt doubt if all canadian
doctors are like this! Since healthcare
is free, they prolly dont worry too much
about us.
My next appt wit my doc is june 1st, would
they be able to tell if my mucus plug came
out??? If it did I swear I will kill that
nurse there  some
people shouldnt be in that profession

Well my doc is very nice. So is the
nurse. I have a good insurance plan so
anytime I go see them, I dont have to pay
anything. All I had to pay was 80 one
time and 100 another time, and thats it
until I go into labor. Like when I was
sick, I called and she told me to go in
and they saw me and gave me medicine. You
just have a bad doctor!

Yeah they can tell right away. They just
look inside you.
Nikki - yeah my insurance is good too.
Mike has a government job. I had to pay a
$30 copay my first visit, but after I find
out i'm pregnant, I don't have to pay
anything else ever!

I think it is your mucus plug, the exact
same thing happened to my cousin. I
wouldn't worry to much cause you're
probably stressing yourself out. But
still talk to your doctor so you know for
sure.
My next appointment is june 1st too. Good

swear I dont know what i'd do without this

called my mom haha!  i'll
prolly be on here during my labour checkin
to make sure wit u girls that I am
actually in labor hahah!
U guys got good insurance plans! Are u
covered under that too when u go on mat.

Hey sweetie I think it was discharge I had
that when I was preggy....My mucus plug
came eout while I was at the hospital and
I saw it b/c I had a towel between my legs
b/c it helped w/ the pressure and it was
gooey and bloody tmi I kno but I really
dont think u have anythingto worry about
