Q: Too Early to Show W/ First?

Hello,
i am 8 1/2 weeks and I feel like i'm starting to show. I can feel my uterus right above my pubic bone. Isn't this a little early to be feeling this? I'm nervous, because i've been very cautious about my diet and have only gained 3 pounds, yet I am fearful of gaining too much weight. Is 8 weeks to early to show?

Extremely eHealthy
It is a little early but all women are different. You wont pop out or anything but your belly might get a little bigger. Gaining weight is something you need to do even if you dont want it. The only thing you can do is walk everyday to help the labor and weight and eat healthy. Good luck!

It's not too early at all to "show", atleast for you to be able to notice it yourself. Chances are, you're not showing to anyone else. Typically, if you have a narrow pelvic structure, you'll show sooner than someone who is wider or who has a higher body fat content. I am only 6.5 weeks and I can definitely feel the uterus above my pubic bone and by the end of the day i've retained so much fluid I look like i'm 3-4 months. Keep that in mind as well - you are probably retaining quite a bit of water right now. Keeping salt to a minimum will help with cutting that down.
