Recently, sexual intercourse with my
girlfriend has become painful for her.
In the last couple of days, she has also
noticed a strange discharge that
definately isn't normal. I have
researched possible reasons for this, and
have come to the conclusion that it could
possibly be chlamydia. Although I am
uncertain about this because she only has
a couple of the symptoms associated with
chlamydia. I have experience none of the
symptoms either. We have been sexually
active for 7 months and this has never
happened before.
Also recently, we had a kiddie pool filled
with pudding for her birthday, because she
said that she always wanted to wrestle in
pudding. Shortly after this, she noticed
the discharge, and her belly-button ring
has become infected. Is it possible that
the milk in the pudding could have given
her an infection? Regardless, we are
both getting checked again. If anyone
has any advice regarding this topic, it
would be greatly appreciated. Thank
you...

Women emit sypmtoms more often than men.
Meaning that you could have an std and not
even know it. And again it could be
something other than an std. She could
have a yeast infection from the pudding
wresling. A yeast infection happens when
there is an imblance in ph and other
natural flora in the vaginal cavity. This
would explain the abnormal discharge. The
best bet is for both of you to get tested.
If it is chlamydia, it is better to be
diagnosed as soon as possible and because
it is a bacterial not viral infection, it
is curable and will be treated with
antibiotics. Good luck.

I doubt that it is chlamydia unless one of
you has been unfaithful. I only say that
because if you two have been faithful to
each other and have been active for seven
months she most likely would have noticed
symptoms before. But, I would still rule
it out. If it were chlamydia, you most
likely would not have symptoms. But,
that is not always true. Some people do
not get symptoms at all or it can take a
while, so it would be smart to check.
It could be a yeast infection, or it could
be bacterial vaginosis. That is my
guess. Wrestling in pudding probably
wasn't a very good idea, but I hope she at
least had fun!
Bv is easily cured with pills. Well,
easily cured for some people, but a lot of
women have it recur often. I am one of
those unlucky girls.
But, anyway, all she has to do is go to
the gyno or family planning. They will
do an std test if she wants it and they
will take a "sample", look under a
microscope right then and there and tell
her if she has bv or a yeast infection.
Then they will give her the proper meds.
