good look finding a job in graphic design! Once you graduate and go the job market you tell us how it is and if it's true that you are making lot's of money.
I am sick of your condescension. I, too, have a degree that many people believe is "frivulous" or "useless" if you aren't going to teach. I'm not going to teach and yet I had .n.o trouble finding a good job, landing it, and now working at it for the past few years.

My cousin obtained his degree in chemistry and could not find a job, at all, because everywhere he looked required a master's degree. He finally had to return to school for his master's in chemistry and when he graduated last year, he's making only $1,000 a year than I am.

My friend obtained his business degree and was hired on in a mail room at about $19,000 a year - far, far, .f.a.r less than what I bring home. (In fact, even at a nonprofit organization, I bring home more than double what my friend does).

What you do while you are at college (working so that you have a job history, internships, volunteering, etc) is important too. And, what I have discovered over the past three years is that a solid general degree, like political science, that allows you to become proficient in many fields can be more valuable than a technical degree (chemistry, biology, etc) and even a business degree.

Mass communications, speech, marketing, sociology, poly sci, public administration - these are all very valuable jobs for today's market!

Well, trust a pro choicer to totally ignore the sentiment behind the words.

But fetuses can't do any of the screaming, talking, crying, or anything mentioned in these poems. The one that upsets me the most is the first one, in which the fetus is apparently aborted in month seven!! That is just absolutely illegal, and would never be done unless there was danger to the mother or a severe deformity on the fetus. But at seven months, if the mother was in danger, a very sucessful induce-labor could be produced, and that child would survive.

I don't see any reason for that poem to lie in such a way. I don't care how "beautiful" it is.

I think all of you can take solace in the fact that the fetus is not self aware. It does not know it is being aborted. Even a born baby cannot formulate the words - it does not eve know the words - to say these poems. A fetus also cannot feel the pain that these poems lie and say they feel. A fetus cannot scream, either.

Worms do not feel pain; when you addicentally step on one and see it moving, it is simply a bodily reaction to a different situation; it is not a reaction to pain. Fetuses are not worms and I am no saying they are; however, their nervous system at the time of +90% of abortions is not much more developed than one.

Women who abort are not causing mental, physical, or emotinal pain to the fetus; so take solace in this fact: these fetuses die like a euthanised pet in a sense: completely unaware.

A PET!!!! YOU SICK PERSON

DOn't cry when you see poems like this; at least, don't cry for the fetus. Cry for the woman or man who wrote it; because they are clearly misinformed of what a fetus is, and what it can and cannot do. These authors are decieved, guilted, and broken down inside. feel sorry for them, not the fetus that cannot feel; the fetus that isn't even here anymore.

I was thinking the same thoughts while reading them. The way the poems are talking they sound like the mother killed the baby at age five. Also, it seems like if the baby is born, everything would of been happy and magical. Things like lack of nutrition, homicide, and any other mistreatment can cause a child much more suffering than an abortion.

** Trust me, I think birth is a beautiful thing, and I don't encourage abortions, it causes a lot of pain and mental disruptions for the family, and the woman itself. In a perfect world, I wish there was no unplanned pregnancies or abortions Sad

gz i know this post is old, but i was reading all that about graphic design and started feeling really angry Laughing by what nightangel said. my boyfriend is 60,000 dollars in debt going to school for graphic design at full sail and i agree with eiri that you can get paid a lot of money for it.

i don't even know why im saying this because it's been a long time since this conversation took place, but im feeling annoyed by her once again lol

Haha XD wow, I didn't expect to get that kind of a response, but thank you. I'm in my senior year, and considering the airforce afterwards to pay off my many thousands of dollars of debt.

Haha ^^ I suppose it takes a certain inner child that doesn't mind having their dreams distorted into frightening adult concepts under the guise of an often adorable main character.
