Ok my grandma got me one of them yesturday
and I couldnt hear the heartbeat at first
and all I could hear was computer running,
my fish tank bubbling, and the cars
driving by... I could hear my own
hearbeat fine, and I could hear the babys
kicks and swooshes just fine but there was
this noise in the back ground so I couldnt
hear the greatest, well anyways I shut all
the windows and doors and I shut down the
computer and I shut off the fish tank, I
turned off the tv cuz you could hear that
buzzing when it was muted, well after all
that I heard my heartbeat in my stomach
and a little heartbeat in the background,
it was very faint, and confusing at times
(i had to put my finger on my neck to be
able to tell the dif between my pulse and
the babys, and also cuz of the kicks and
swooshes overpowering the sounds of the
heartbeat). I think I just need to wait
for the baby to be bigger before I can
hear the heartbeat better... Ok but the
funny thing is I pointed it up at the
ceiling and I could hear their every
movement up there and I could even hear
them talking! Lol this is a good thing
for people that like to listen into others
conversations, haha now I will know what
they say about us... They are our
landlords so you know they talk about us..
Also I live across from a bank, and now I
have something to do... I always wondered
what they were talking about, cuz they sit
there and laugh and talk about stuff just
loud enough so you can hear them but not
make out what they say. Hehe im gonna
have some fun with this... Now when kevin
pretends hes gotta do something in the
bathroom when hes on the phone I can put
it up on the wall and hear what hes talkin
about and why hes gotta hide from me to be
able to talk to them. Lol I listened to
my kittys heart too... And she started
purrin loud.

I have one and I had a lot of problems
finding the heartbeat until I was like
around 30 weeks or so. I can hear pretty
good now. Most of those prenatal ones
don't really work until your well in the
3rd trimester. They do pick up a lot of
other noises too! Just keep trying and
pretty soon you'll be able to hear it
really well. Next time you o to the Dr.
Watch where they find the heartbeat with
the doppler.

Mine was only 19.99... My grandma bought
it though, otherwise I would have spent
the money on something else. Hopefully I
can here the heart beat better later on,
it says that they sometimes dont pick up
the heartbeat til your third trimester,
but there have been people to hear it
before then.

I don't know why but it seems really weird
that you would be able to hear what the
people around you (in other
apartments/rooms) are saying. That's
crazy.

It was at shopko for 19.99, and you can
also get it cheap at target... I know its
under 24.99 at target for sure... I dont
remember how much it was though...Its
kinda crappy and a pain sometimes but if
you dont mind blowing your money on it, it
is kinda cool to have when your bored.

I hear the heartbeat beyond my heartbeat,
I always hear both though. So I have to
keep track my pulse, and I hear the babys
so faintly I dont know if im imagining it
cuz I wanna hear it so bad.
