Interpretation of Orthepedic Visit And Doctor Notes Posted: 06-04-04 00:12am
Hello all out there. My whole story has
alraedy been posted under alisonjoan. In
any case, I have been suffering from
sciatic pain in my left side with numbness
in my upper back and behind my left knee.
My major pain is in my lower left back ,
my left hip and my left leg. #1 the numb
part of my back is all the way accross and
into the right side . The whole rest of
my trouble is in the left only. Waht is
going on there? Ideas? #2 in the last
couple of days I have developed a horrible
pain in my calf and foot like a charlie
horse or night time cramp that doesn't
stop. Any thoughts?
Ok - orthopedist...I have a written report
in which he claims to heave given me tests
I do not think he did give me. For
example, he said I was able to walk on my
toes and heals? How would that be
tested? Simply by walking? Then he
said I have fine sensation in my
extremities - but I have numbness and he
did not check this out. Also he said he
did an ap of my pelvis - what is an ap?
Diagnosis and recommendations ...What is
a differential diagnosis of lumbar disk
derangement with nerve root irritation?
What would osteonecrosis of femoral heads
be?
Further - he wants to test me for
arthritis because he says I have pain in
so many places - but it is really sciatic
on the left and a case of carpel tunnel in
my wrists. Any thoughts would be highly
appreciated.
