I Cry Everyday Medication Wont Help Posted: 06-06-04 14:57pm
I was diagnosed with manic depression at a
very young age. All my life drs have put
me on all types of medication in the hope
that they could fix my chemical imbalance
without any success. I then went without
meds to try and help myself for about 5
years but I couldn't so a month or so ago
I tried some new meds (efexor). I was bed
ridden for two weeks from the side effects
and didnt want to eat. I took them for
amonth in the hopoe that the side affects
would leave they slowly did but my
depression was as bad as ever. Now that
i'm not on anything i'm seeing life so
negatively and I don't want to. I hate
having anxiety attacks over small things
and I really do have full blowed crying
sessions every single day. Can anyone
help me? I have a counsilor and she helps
a bit but the pain is still inside. I
have a wonderful family and great
boyfriend yet all I do is cry. I dont
want to live but i'd never commit suicide
because of my loved ones.
Please help?

Help...maybe Posted: 06-07-04 02:57am
I also have first hand experience with the
same types of symptoms you were going
through. I was introduced to an all
natural product called tahitian noni
juice. I really liked the fact that it
was just a juice but had all types of
benificial properties to it. The fact
that I found several other people that had
heard and tried it gave me some
reassurance. I got me a bottle and
reluctantly tried it.
I can truely say it has been a blessing to
me. In about two weeks after I started
to drink the juice, I could feel the extra
boost of energy. I don't know when but I
noticed I wasn't aching anymore like I use
to.
The best part was that I did find it in
the physician desk reference (pdr) which
is sometimes referred to as the doctors
bible. It was in the 2003 - 24th edition
and to my surprise, it stated in that pdr
that it had no side effects, therefore I
could drink it and it would not cause any
problems with my other medications. I
was so overwelmed that I did sign up as a
distributor for two reasons. 1) because
the juice really worked, 2) to get it
cheaper. If you like, you can go to the
website and read all the info on it an
actually order right off the site. The
website is
<< www.Tni.Com/esuccess
>>. This is the one time I can
truely say it was well worth the money.

Cbt got me better but I suffered
depression and panic and am not manic
depressive. Cbt is great for treating
anxiety and depression, but I do not think
it can cure manic depression, but have
heard it is helpful for some of the
symptoms. The two books we used in my
group are really good and I would
recommend them both highly: been there,
done that? Do this! By sam obitz for
anxiety and depression and mastery of your
anxiety and panic-third edition by
michelle craske and david barlow for panic
disorder.

Manic Depression Yes I Have It Too. Posted: 07-07-04 09:02am
yes I was also diagnossed with manic
depression at the age of 13, I guess there
is no cure but a treatment can be found.
Try talking to your doc. About zoloft and
vitamine therapy, zoloft helped curb the
panic and crying alot for me, but seroquel
(for sleep at night) helps me get to sleep
and feel better in the morning without
crying or waking up crying. Take a
multivitamin with iron, iron defiency also
causes "cry" sessions. Also for mind
clarity take ginseng a natural memory
enhancer to help clarify your thoughts and
actions.
