Hi...Let me introduce myself...Im not a
teen, actually, im 25, so I hope that is
ok. I have been trying to conceive for
quite a while now. I have been reading
this board and some other boards about
pregnancy, but I found this board to be
the most interesting, so I wondered if it
would be ok if I joined...
Ive been with my boyfriend for about 2
years...I know some of you didnt intend to
get preganant and some of you did...But
anyway I am looking for any advise on how
to get pregenent, we have unprotected sex,
but still no baby. Ive heard sometimes it
takes a while.
Well anyways, any advice at all would be
appreciated, and I would also like to say
I really admire all you preggo girls who
are young(er). You all seem like such
strong individuals.

years and 11 weeks pregnant with our first
child. There are lots of us in here who
aren't teens. Thats ok!

I'm tanya, i'm 23, not pregnant, not
trying to conceive at the moment however
have been pregnant before. How long have
you been trying to get pregnant? If you
go to www.Babycenter.Com
you will find .T.O.N.S. Of tips on how to
conceive, including lists of sexual
positions and things to do before and
afterwards! The best thing to do is just
have fun with it and not worry every month
whether your pregnant or not. It will
happen just give it time

Hi! I am chrystin, I am 14 and 31 weeks
pregnant today. The best advice I could
give you would to try and not get
pregnant, I know it seems ironic, but many
of us who were trying not to(or just not
planning) got pregnant easier. I wish you
and your boyfriend all the best in
conceiving! Welcome to the boards!

Hey hun welcome! Its ok, not all the
girls here are teens* I am kari, 18, and
33 1/2 weeks pregnant with my first (a
boy). I agree, try to not 'try' lol
sounds weird. But I mean look at all of
us who got pregnant not trying.It seems
the less u think about it, the more
chances ya get. Im surei t will happen
soon. It does take some people a while,
but make it fun and enjoy your
relationship which will only get stronger
until that big day comes! I wish u luck!

Hello, welcome to the fourm. My name is
april, im 17 and 25 weeks pregnant with a
baby girl(1st child). Me and my boyfriend
kevin have been together for almost a year
and a half. Sometimes it just takes
awhile to get pregnant, I had unprotected
sex for almost a year with kevin until I
ended up pregnant. I was on birthcontrol
for a couple months and then got sick of
it and came off of it and I ended up
pregnant like the next month. Just give
it sometime it will happen. Lol yea I
think it does happen when you dont try you
have a better chance. I wish you the best
of luck in ttc.

lol, yall responded so fast!
Yea, I guess I am trying to relax about it
and not "try"....But I just wonder if
theres something wrong with me, since we
havent used any protection in like a year
and a half.....Hmmmm...I went for a
check-up back in dec, and the gyn just
said vaguely "everything looks fine, maybe
your timing is off". Gee thanx.
By the way, I am from ny. I work in an
insurance office, so im on the computer
all day long mon-fri (lol)....Thats how I
have been able to follow these boards for
so long. I look fwd to getting to kno u
girls better!

Angel: cicci was this girl who came in
last week for the first time. She had
been reading too without posting, and the
first thing out of her mouth when she did
post was that chanda was a health forum
and kari was a follower. So of course we
all stood up for each other, and she
accused us of ganging up on new girls.

I wouldn't worry too much that something
is wrong ( a year and a half is about
normal time) however if your worried go to
the docs and get some tests done it might ease your
mind and make the erm...Baby making less
worrysome! Lol!

I was having unprotected sex with my
boyfriend for over a year and then out of
the blue I got pregnant. I realized that
most likely it was because of drugs. My
boyfriend smoked a lot of pot and he quit
the beginning of april and I got pregnant
around april 15th. If he smokes pot it
really does affect sperm count... Oh, and
i'm not trying to say your boyfriend does
drugs i'm just saying if so stopping
really helps for baby makin'.

Hey welcome my name is jeni im 17yrs old
and I have a 6 week old son.....Did u try
having sex when ur ovulating?? 14 days
after ur period is when u ovulate thats
how I got preg and wasnt even trying lol!!

Yea, the bf dosnt do drugs...We both drink
sometimes, but I dont think that would
affect baby-makin, since so many people
get preg by accident at parties and stuff
(lol). I just feel kinda sad and
frustrated. The bf dosnt know how much I
want a baby. I mean he dosnt know its on
my mind like 24/7...His attitude is more
like just let it happen whnever it will
happen. 
men!!!
But I guess it does make me feel alittle
better to hear that some of yall were
trying for like a year or some months, and
then it just happened. Thanx girlz....

Hey im nicole. Im 20 and married and
im..17 weeks pregnant lol. I forgot how
far long I was for a sec there. I wasnt
expecting to be pregnant but I got there
anyways. You should just not focus on it
so much and maybe your timing could be
off. They say to try it a day before you
start ovulating because it can live in
there for 24-72 hours or something and you
can get pregnant that way. Otherwise id
just say be patient and it will happen for
you
