Erection Problems - Pls Help!
Posted: 06-10-04 06:48am

Hi, i'm 24 and i've been suffering from erection problems for sometime now and am becoming desperate. Its not that I can't get an erection - just that its not as hard as it should be, and soon wears off. It annoys me when you see guys in pornos who have rock-like hardons, and all I can get is a semi-erect thing that looks like gonzo from the muppets' nose!

Basically this is ruining my life - i'm still a virgin and my sex drive is practically zero. I don't even bother chatting up women anymore cos I know I won't be able to get it up. The thing is, I still get turned on by porn and watch it almost every day. I read a previous post from someone saying that its a good idea to have a break from porn, which i've tried, but I cant help thinking I have a physical problem.

I've seen a doc and counsellor about this, but they both think that, since I can masturbate myself to a climax and get morning erections, then there's nothing physically wrong with me. They recommend counselling, but I don't see how just talking about it can make any difference - I worry about it 24hrs a day, and have discussed everything with myself in my head (if you know what I mean). I just hope that its a physical problem, so that I can do something about it.

I've seen such things as vacuum pumps and 'confidence rings' advertised on the internet, are these any use?

I'll shut up now cos i've waffled on a bit. Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks, rob
