I am a guy friend of a 20 year old guy who
got his girlfriend pregnant. They are
due in august (a girl)...I need help
dealing with this and supporting them.
They got married 6 weeks ago, and are
living on their own for the first time.
She graduated college, he dropped out of
college. And has no job. What should
my role be?

This has gotta be a "crazy" post! Omg!
You need help dealing with
what????????????????????????Are you
preggy? Are you the one having the kid?
No! Then you need help dealing with
nothing! And your role is: the friend of
a guy who has a baby on the way.......Duh.

Lol unless your "buddy buddy" with "both"
your friends and feel you have a
connection with the baby then I deem you
to have no role in its life and if you
wanna help buy them some stuff to help out
or money or anything I know id like that
my 2 cents

Thanks noodle...I am just trying to get
some advice on how to help my friends out.
I'm just trying to be a great friend to
them....Is it better to check up often or
let them come to me?

U should really let them come to you or
you will seem to intrusive cause I know I
hate when anyone constantly checks up on
heather and I its real annoying its like
yes were fine and dont need anything else
now shut up and go away just check up
every once and a while when you think you
should otherwise just bring some stuff up
every once and a while and dont intrude
you should be all good

No not really thats just common questions
I spose just make sure u dont pry into
them like asking questions just listen to
what they want to tell you and thats all
if they want to share they will

U seem like a cool dude, noodle, I
appreciate your honesty. I was the first
person my friends told about their
pregnancy so I feel flattered but also
very close to them and want the best for
all. Do you have close friends that you
told before your parents?

Well in a way yes but it was really not
that bad of a secret cause we thought
heather was prego before she got prego so
our parents already knew then they all got
set that she was not prego so it wasent
that big of shock but our parents wouldnt
believe us it was funny and how come youre
on here you must be a real good friend
cause if my friends were prego I dont
think id spend time on a prego forum for
them unless I had nothing better to do

I'm just trying to see how others deal
with the situation so I can be a better
friend. I don't want to interfere in
their lives too much but I also don't want
them to struggle and fail. So i'm just
looking for advice on where to stand.
You seem very down to earth noodle, if you
lived closer to me, we could be friends.
I hope all is well with your baby!

Chanda,
the last time I checked in the shower, I
was a man! Being a good friend will be
just as important after the baby is born
as it is now, right?
