Hi im 17 years old an since I was 16 I
have had a dam problem with my throat /
ear just I dunno were the connect it has
effected me dramtically in ways u couldnt
imagine I cant go out casue I cant barly
speak or woteva I have been to the dam gp
but he said theres only a glue ear I got
so then I went to the ent and they told me
I didnt have a glue ear I
dunno but its really anoyying how docters
lie I reckon yea any way the ent said I
had a muscel tension dysphonia or sumthen
and nasal congestion like that yea tension
in the neck etc so im at speech therapy
but thats not doin much I just got this
feeling my throat its like flem coated
throat , tightning and when I hum or lower
my voice it goes verry crackly it almost
feels like the air isnt goin throught the
vocal cords right like they dont close
proppally there for dosnt enable me to
speak well , yea well thas it from me im
desprate to just get rid of this sickness
or woteva it is ,
if anyone can help its much apreshiated

Hi tyson..Sorry noone replied to you. My
ex- boyfriends mom actually had something
somewhat similar- she lost her voice, and
not to sound mean but when she speakes,
it's such a strain on her vocal chords,
and surrounding muscles that her voice
comes out sounding a bit handicapped. The
doctors ran tons of tests on her as well,
and tehy did mention about the
muscles..Stress..And tension. Stress
causes alot of things. She said what did
help her a bit was a hot pad- she'd wrap
it around her neck, and it would relax the
throat muscles...I wish I knew more for
you, but i'd say not al dr's are a- holes,
but keep going to different ones, someone
has to figure it out sooner or later.
Have you tried a nose, ear and throat dr?

Hi tyson
i too have suffered with similiar symptoms
as you......Try seeing a gastrointestinal
doctor to have an endoscopy...Where they
look down inside the throat all the way to
stomach...Could be acid reflux....I had
the test...Doctor found nothing and I
still 8 mos later have the problem...It is
quite frightening....

also been goin on nasal sprayz casue
apprently I also got a post nasal drip its
really anoyying anyone know how to get rid
of it or anything to sooth it I been
sucking on barley sugers latly lol yea
they seem to soothe it but then it comes
back I dunno what to do , anyone help me
please?

I found some info and have this feeling as
well in my throat. Although not as bad as
yours apparently.
Some poeple in this thread haver the same
feeling, and it seems no one gets relief
or diagnosis yet it seems...
