High Risk For Pregnancy Induced Hypertension Posted: 06-11-04 22:49pm
Well its been official I am on modified
bed rest every 2-3 hours I have to lay on
my left (lateral) side for 3 hours. I am
at high risk for pregnancy induced
hypertension when
I go into the doctor I am alsways freaking
out thinking something is wrong and my
blood pressure is up to 150/90 or 130/90.
Anyways they make me lay down and then
retake it and it goes down to the usual
115/50. Yesterday she had me lay down
before they even took my blood pressure
and then she took it and it was 120/60.
She was very pleased so now when I go in I
have to lay down for 15 minutes on my left
side before they even do anything!!!
My concern is the c-section. So far I am
going for vaginal, but my doc said if I
can't keep up with my blood pressure they
are gonna do a c-section. Because of that
one girl I think it was mesmurizeu who was
pregnant and miscarried due to her past
c-section they screwed her up for life and
she cant have anymore children. I am
scared they are gonna do something wrong
and mess me up. What are the chances of
that happening to me? What are the
chances I will even end up with a
c-section?
Lots of love,

Hey girls just wanted to say thanks and
that that info was very encouraging.
Riversmommy- so your blood pressure went
up and down. Did they make you lay on
your left side or anything. Why did they
decide to induce you? I would love it if
they induced me! Did they ever say
anything about a c-section to you during
your labor?
Insurancegirl-so you are the one worrying
about it now? I was talking about when
mez miscarried and her sister got online
and said that it was her last c-section
that caused her to miscarry that she will
never be able to have another baby due to
the fact that damaged her uterus. I think
it was mez. It was the one that everybody
started saying was fake cause the picture
of her little girl was on the same site
somewhere else.
Thanks a bunch girls for the
reasurrance!!!

Hey hun! Yah I had high blood pressure it
fluctuated!! The monday be4 they induced
me they kept me over night to monitor me
then I went in that wednesday and they
sent me up to be monitored again b/c my
blood pressure was high in the
office....Well that following monday it
was high again so they sent me up to get
monitored well about 530 the doc comes in
and asked me if I wanted to just get
induced b/c she doesnt want me to get sick
or the baby to get stressed sooo they
induced me at 930 that night I went into
labor at 10 that night......I wasnt
dilating fast enough I had been at 7cm for
like an hour or more thats why they were
talking bout a c-section but then I
started dilating again!! Uwill be just
fine hun I kno u will!!

Well jen I feel better know hearing the
story, lol. I hope they will induce me to
let me just get it over with and no stress
on hayley. That would be soooo nice!!!
Jordan-omg I am so dumb, thanks! My
apologies to stacy. That is the whole
reason I dont want a c-section cause of
what happened to kelly. It has me so
freaked out. How long ago was that when
they did her c-section from her first
daughter? Maybe that is why they screwed
up. I am just trying to ease my mind,
lol. Thanks, again I apologize to
stacy!!

Jennifer that is so awful to hear!! Don't
be worried. Okay I will make a deal with
you, I wont worry if you wont worry, lol.
Do you mind me asking why you have the
shunt? My friend carmen has a shunt due
to spina bifida and she thinks she wont be
able to have babies. I was just wondering
if you also have spina bifida. I knew a
woman named dana and she had 3 babies with
spina bifida. C-sections of course.
