I dont know what is happening to me.
After almost every meal I get this gnawing
pain under my right rib cage that radiates
into my ribs all the way up to my shoulder
and real sharp in my shoulder blade. I
also get a gnawing pain under my breast
bone and pain in my left shoulder(like gas
pains). I have had a ct and xray=no
gallstones. Therefore, was diagnosed
with ibs. Was given nulev...Didnt do
anything but give me a headache after it
knocked me out for bout an hour. Was
also give lortab 5's. What could this
be? Could it still be my gallbladder.
Although I am more worried about my liver.
My stools are also a real pale yellow
and twice where whitish. I sometimes
throw up this nasty yellow stuff. I
found the worst pain happens after my fav.
Meal=kfc. It also happens alot at
night. It sometimes wakes me up at like
2 am. Any advice or suggestions would be
greatly appreciated. U can im me anytime
on yahoo. Same screenname. Thank you
to all how reads this even if you dont
reply.
Sincerely,
angel

Based on your symptoms of pain right after
eating and the location of your pain it
sounds like a gall bladder disorder.
Don't be frightened it is very common and
correctable. Suggest that your Dr. Do a
hida scan. This test check the function
of the gallbladder. You basically don't
eat after midnight the night before.
They lay you on a table give you an
injection through iv that inflates the
gall bladder you lay there for like 15
mintues then they give you a second
injection that deflates the gall bladder
and they watch the percentage of
functionality of the gall bladder. If
they find it is not working properly they
usually remove it with surgery.
Laproscopic surgery that you recover from
pretty quickly. Less than a 48 hours in
the hospital. The gall bladder is a
funtion of the liver, delivering extra
bile when needed and if it is operating
wrong it could cause your odd stoll and
such. Try not to worry, trust your body
and keep pursing answers from the Dr.
