For about a year now.......Within 1 hr.
Of eating greasy foods, chocolate, or ice
cream, I have nausea/vomitting. Vomit
tastes like poison!!!! Have had several
bad pain attacks sometimes right under
breast in middle of chest---like heart
attack! Sometimes on right side under
ribs like the pain in your side you would
get when you were little and ran too hard.
Upper endoscopy showed hiatal hernia and
ulcer in esophagus caused by the reflux
but the Dr. Thinks it's gallbladder. So
I had abdominal ultra sound--normal, and a
hida scan--81%. I am still vomitting
green poison after meals which has caused
fever blisters inside and outside of my
mouth. Bowell movements are looser than
normal and beige colored. Even though the
test are normal could it still be
gallbladder?????

I am no Dr. But it sounds to me that it
could be all the above but after almost a
year with these problems I would think
something should be done. I have had my
galbladder out, I now have a hiatal
hernia, they are now operable but mine
isn't that bad yet I sleep propped up on
pillows and with a wedge, it does help me,
I avoid acidy foods such as tomatoes, I
get a lot of heartburn that feels like I
am having chest pains, I use gaviscon and
extra strength tums for that, if I were
you and the Dr. Did not do something soon
I would find someone that would as you
always have a right to a second opinion!
