Questions...uneven Breasts And Breast Implants?? Posted: 06-16-04 21:50pm
I have uneven breasts and I would like to
get breast implants. I would like to
know how this would work. I would also
like to know if, one day when I am old,
will one sag more than the other? I
would like to also hear from other women
about implants and their cost, the healing
time, the risks, just basically any
information you can give me about breast
augmentation.

No one is perfect! Most of our breasts
are uneven! Try to accept yourself as
you are! My sister had a boob job, they
started to leak, she got real sick, ended
up getting them infected and had drains
coming out of her nipples! I have had
friends that have had breast cancer and
had to have them removed, heck uneven
breasts are nothing, be happy with
yourself the way you are! You need to
really think about this. My sister even
told me that hers were hard and unnatural
looking and feeling. I hope I don't
sound too mad, just try to be happy with
what you have. If you do decide to have
this done I sure hope everything comes out
o.K. And you are happy!
Sincerely,
sandy

Thanks For the Warning Posted: 06-17-04 00:14am
I have wanted breast implants since I was
young. They just seem like an awesome
addition a woman can do for her body.
Unfortunately, I do worry about the risks.
Thank you for your story and keep me
updated!

Breast Implants For "unevens" Posted: 09-01-04 11:44am
Well, maybe my story can help you. I
had always had small breasts when I was
growing up, and even into adulthood. My
problem came when I started breast feeding
my first and only child. My left breast
seemed to squirt away with milk, while my
right breast trickled along. When my
breast feeding was done (about 1 month b/c
I couldn't produce enough to keep up with
my little piggie) my breasts were left
permanently deformed. My left breast
was a full cup size larger than my right.
I was already very conscious of having
small breasts, but by then I was
devistated by having uneven and small
breasts. I had always told myself that
I could live with small ones, but with
uneven and small, that was my breaking
point. My husband and I applied for a
credit card that had one year free
interest, and I went to the doctor that
did my best friend's breasts, which by the
way are beautiful. All around, the
surgery cost me about $3,900 and was worth
every penny. My self confidence level
is through the roof like never before!
I have had my breast implants for about 3
years now and have never had any
complications. The same doctor did
about 4 other friends of mine before me,
and with their success rate came my
descision about using him. His name is
Dr. Seidel and he is in cullman,
alabama. He did our surgeries in the
main hospital and I was very pleased with
every aspect of my procedure. (down to
the nurses in the hospital and his office
staff) I have been in the medical field
for a while, and I know good staffing when
I see it! Right after the surgery, boy
did I hurt, but it eventually got better
day by day. I would say that I was back
to normal in a month. (completely) of
course with any surgery comes risks, and I
was well aware of them all. (leakage,
falling, hardening, rejection by the body,
etc...) fortunately I have never
experienced any of those risks. During
your consultation, if you decide to go for
it, they will tell you of all the risks
involved, allow you to look at pictures of
before and afters, and the doctor will
even look at yours and tell you his
opinion vs. What you want. I hope this
helps. :d

Most woman have uneven breast...Its not a
big deal...Unless it is for u. My left
one was alot smaller on top of that they
were so small that it was
noticable....Every female in my family had
implants...So naturally I wanted them
since I was 14 I knew they would not get
any bigger...I got implants 8yrs ago...I
am so much more happier, it was worth
every penny, about 5,000 dollars all
together. I lived in los angeles for
nearly 7 yrs and went to alot of
consultations but was never satisfied with
what the dr said or how the before and
after pics looked. My mother gave me alot
of advice, she had hers done about 25 yrs
ago and 1 child later, never sagged, yes
there is risk, risk to any surgery. After
I got mine done, about six months later,
the right one would hurt at times then I
noticed it was getting hard, I called my
dr went in to see him, well I had
complications in the right one my body was
rejecting it, well I figured if I was
going to have to have it redone I might as
well get them a little bigger so I
did...As for them being uneven, the dr
just put more saline in the right one to
make it the same size as the left....I
haven't had any more problems since, I
have more self esteem, I dont walk around
with my arms crossed trying to hide my
small boobs.....I would do it all over
again in a heart beat, I got them under
the muscle so my healing time was longer
all together about 6 wks, well worth
it....If u do have it done, don't rush
into it, go to plenty of drs first, a good
dr will offer free consultations so u wont
lose out on any money..Some offer 50.00
dollar consultations then the money goes
towards the surgery, if u dont have it
done u lose the $, I always went to the
free ones, my mom always told me when u
find the right dr u will know it, I went
to about 20 visits, finally, in kansas
city I went to dr hall, and before I left
I knew it like she said and made all the
arrangements before I left that
day.......Good luck
