Is Cramping And Fatigue Normal Symptoms??? Posted: 09-20-03 18:20pm
I am 5 1/2 weeks pregnate with my fist
child and have been cramping basically the
entire time. I have only had one episode
of bleeeing/spotting and went to the Dr.
Immediately. She said every thing looked
ok...But was unable to see much of
anything on the transvaginal ultrasound
she did...Yet my blood levels confirmed a
pregnancy with a progesterone level of
17.3 and a hcg level of 1738...I am
worried this cramping and fatigue could be
a sign of a possible miscarriage....Please
give me some advice about this. I am
terrified. Thank you

Cramping And Fatigue Posted: 09-21-03 02:32am
I believe cramping and fatigue are both
signs of a normal pregnancy, cramping is
usually your body making way for the baby,
and fatigue well I can tell you all about
that. I don't think any pregnant woman
gets out of that one. I can understand
your concerns about the cramping, I had
cramping last time I was pregnant and
miscarried, but the thing is, it wasn't
just cramping on it's own, it went hand in
hand with severe back pain and severe
period type pain aswell. Do you have bad
back pain aswell ? Because that is the
one question all the nurses at the
hospital kept asking me the day before I
miscarried. If not, you will probably
have a great pregnancy with all the usual
pains and fatigue. Good luck !!
